Got the sandals just a week ago. I normally use 11 in shoes, but asked 12 following product recommendations. The sandals fit quite ok in my feet, a bit large but not uncomfortable. For the time being and with medium use, they looks ok.
A ton of shoe for the money.
The length was good. A little tight in the arch area at first, but with a little wear time the fit has become much better. Not too loose and not too tight otherwise. I think the material was a little thinner than I expected, but all in all a good fit.
I would buy this sandel again. Too soon to tell its longevity.
I bought a pair of Northside sandals a couple of years ago and they have been outstanding. I have used them for everyday use, including bike riding, almost year round - even for the dead of winter when I add heavy wool socks. The insoles have worn out; the uppers are well worn but are sound except where my inside right heel occasionally rubs my bike chain.Since my old pair is starting to wear out, I found these; they are just like my old pair except that the old pair has a closed heel. These sandals are light and, of course, well ventilated. They are very comfortable and do not have a pretentious insole like so many other shoes. They are plenty big and my wide feet are easily accommodated. These sandals look good, feel good, and are sturdy. They are a definite bargain in this price range.Jim
I did not like the inner sole
I bought these basically just to see if I would like the concept. I love sandals, but they are usually a pain to put on/take off and no toe protection. After almost 3 weeks, I haven’t worn anything else. They are comfortable, go off and on real easy, and have worked great in all applications I need. I can hike in them with confidence that I’m not going to loose them in the mud or stub my toe. The tread is pretty good too, for a sandal. They look good for any other use, and your feet keep cool/smell better. I doubt I will use them much when the cooler months come, but until then, they are all I want.
for an inexpensive sandal they are decent. The bungee strap never stays tight, so you are either constantly adjusting it or walk around with a loose shoe that sounds like a flip flop while you walk. They seem fairly durable. I wore them all day during work and all evening while doing yard work numerous days and they are holding up. Due to the bungee always loosening up, they are always easy to slip on and off. overall, they are decent and help up better than the last brand of sandal I bought. However, when they wear out, I don't think I would buy them again because they don't stay snug while wearing them.
