I scoured the internet and a few local stores for the perfect summer sandal for my son. I very much wanted something flexible because i believe in the barefoot philosophy and would never put him in a kid's shoe that doesn't bend much in the sole. I was a little hesitant to purchase these because of the price, but in the end I think they'll be a great investment! (hopefully he doesn't have a crazy foot growth spurt this summer!) They look just like the picture and are very nicely constructed. The sole is very flexible and the foot bed has memory foam technology that feels so soft. They have Velcro on both sides of the T strap so you can make sure they are snug on the foot. I like that the fisherman style sandal protects the toes, especially since my 17 month old often thinks he can run faster than his legs allow!All in all, I have nothing bad to say about these shoes (besides the price), they seem very comfortable and flexible and I personally think they are adorable! I will definitely buy another pediped shoe in the future.
I bought this for my 17 month old son on a size 21. They seemed big on him since he was wearing a size 5 at the time. i thought about sending them back, but im glad that i didnt do it. When we got them his big toe was the closes thing to looking like it fit. my son has thin feet so i had to tighten the straps a bit. Now he is 21 months and it seems that it was perfect that he had sapce to grwo into. Looks like his foot has grown. He pretty much wears them EVERYDAY... thier condition is still pretty good for a toddler that someimes crawls on the floor with his toys. They seem very durable and very comforatble. I'm glad i bought this for my son. I will be getting him a bigger size for next summer... if they make them in larger sizes.
These sandals are great quality, great fit, very comfy, stable for a toddler and anything you can ask for. But I gave a 4 star because they run a bit expensive for kids shoes! So I might change my mind about that when time will go by and if they still be same as now; I would probably be ok with the price then. But to me it's very hard to find a good selection of nicely done shoes and sandals these days and if I find then the price is very expensive. :(( But it was great that it was prime as I'm a fan of prime options, thank you!!!
I am really pleased with these sandals. They do run slightly large, but I was able to adjust them enough that they do not slip. May be able to get two years of wear out of them. Memory foam footbed is nice. My 5 year old says they are comfy. They look great with shorts.
I like the look of these but they are quite narrow. Initially my son's feet appeared to squeeze out of them, leaving impressions in his skin. I had to stretch them out with a ball over the course of several days. It took awhile but they have loosened up a bit. My son is thin and does not have fat feet so I'm not certain how these would work on a child with wider or chubby feet. On the bright side, they are durable and look very nice.
My 2 year old son has a broad instep and it is difficult to find shoes that do not squeeze his instep when fastened.These shoes did the trick. They are also super soft on the inside and have a flexible sole that is perfect for little feet. My son is about to outgrow his current pair and the leather still looks new, which is a major feat as he kicks out all his shoes. I will definitely be getting him another pair!
Ok, when it comes to being particular about shoes, on a scale from 1 to 10, i would be a ... 20. We went through about 6 pairs (returned them all) until we found this brand. Everything has to be perfect: size, they have to be flexible, not bulky, have to be soft, light, good support, but not restrict movement, and the list could go on. These shoes are perfection!! The memory foam sole is a bonus. Is it obvious that i really like them? :O) My toddler would not take them off, he said they felt great on his feet. Happy child = happy mom. Go, Pediped! (pun intended)
I received used shoes... not just tried on, worn at least half a dozen times. There was dirt and crease/wear marks on the innersoles and the soles of the shoes had dirt, gravel and what looks like animal poo on them!.Amazon refunded me but how on earth does this happen!?The shoes seemed nice and looked comfy, the leather was a little stiff though.
