This is my second pair of these Propet sandals and I absolutely love them!I literally wear these sandals several hours a day, every day. At the end of each day, when I take my boots off, I slip on these sandals and wear them until I go to bed because they are super comfortable! I particularly like the fact that each sandal has two hook and loop (velcro) adjustable straps that allows the wearer to adjust the fit perfectly.Unfortunately, after several years, the rubber sole on one of the sandals cracked and then split all the way through to the inner sole. In all fairness, many many times, I wore them outside either to bring in some groceries or get the mail and both the rough stone surface walkway that leads to our carport and our asphalt drive, are extremely unforgiving very rough surfaces; the latter being a little over 350’ round trip. So I don’t blame the sandals 😁!If you decide to give these Propets a try I cannot imagine you won’t enjoy them as much as me. Give them a try; after all what do you have to lose, they are returnable!!
This is a very nice, quility shoe but do to Tom's high arch and hammer toes the straps were too short. It was hard to answer the fit question. The shoe sole was wide enough but the straps baily met to latch.
Size 13 x-wideToe Box/ForefootI am a physical therapist and bought a size 13 x-wide as a gift for a male, former rock climber, with really wide feet) needing a wide toebox sandal. It ended up fitting perfectly without needing to use any major adjustment of velcro straps on the top of he foot. Attached photos reveals true measurements of toebox.I wasn’t sure if the color was ugly in person. When it arrived it was fine.SoleWhen you test shoe/sandal arches and soles you should not be able to bend the shoe/sandal in half (like a hotdog bun). The sole was very durable when I tested it, and had strong thickness to it. I wish the arch had more support but the person I gave it to said he thought it was fine.Overall Summary:This is a well built men’s sandal (minus the minimal arch support) that would accommodate someone with a wide forefoot needing a wide toebox. Very few sandals on the market are this durable and forgiving on the foot.
Just received and am very impressed with the softness of foot bed, fit and overall appeal. Nicely made for the price. I have had good luck with Propet. mens shoes and sandals. I wear a W shoe and went with the 3W width and with the adjustable straps they are a good fit for my high instep and wide toe box. I went with a 10.5 for my size 10 .5 shows and there was room to spare so I would describe these full size in both directions, really no need to order any different than your favorite casual shoe. For the price I am really please with these at first impression. .
These sandals arrived and I was happy with the appearance, construction and fit - until I looked further! The sides are already butted up and there is no room to adjust for eventual stretch using the Velcro straps without overlapping the sides! My feet are not skinny or fat - just normal. These sandals would be OK for someone with very fat feet or who wears heavy socks with them. Who does that? I will return these and look elsewhere.
This is the 5th pair that I bought for my husband over many years. They're durable and comfortable. My husband is a large man with lots of back issues and these sandals give lots of support. They're dressy when necessary and casual when necessary. Good leather, but try not to get them wet with salt water. (They will smell) Overall, a very reliable product.
Very comfortable fit. I like the velcro straps that can easily be adjusted.
