Imagine the most flush material that is also firm enough for standing stability. Any softer and you'd wobble. That is where these sandals live.I still have and use my very first pair, which I have had for several years now. I bought it at a Kohls I think. I was in there for hours while my wife took her time, so I had ample time to try all the sandals. These were, by far, the most comfy. But also expensive to me at the time. I bought them anyway.But in that soft squishyness lies the core weakness of these sandals - they change over time. And not in a good way. From the moment you put these on, their value will degrade like a car. Smells can get trapped in them (and removed with effort). But more importantly, the cushion will slowly dampen. And eventually flatten out most of the springyness. And the top layer of the pad will show some wear. Perhaps less so if you weight less than me, at 215 pounds.But now I am buying a third pair because they, like all things I love, will someday be gone. Replaced with future shoes or something. And I do not want to be without my favorite sandals.
These are a little tighter than my last pair, but ain't gonna gripe because they're discontinued and hard to find. Take what I can get. Fast shipper. Would buy from them again.
Got these sandles for my husband they were about a half size to small. Returned and re ordered a larger size. They look really nice on his feet

These are the sandals I use when I may get my feet wet. They were extremely comfortable with a great cushioning. Unfortunately today one blew out. I don't think I did anything unusual to cause it. They got wet several times in the last 2 days but I would expect the material to be strong even when wet. Not sure if I will buy another pair.
Durable, comfortable, lightweight, weatherproof, perfect amount of slip vs. grip. If you've never worn a pair of Reef flip flops, they are the holy grail of flip flops...
Fell apart way too soon. Long time Reef purchaser, this was garbage. Do not recommend at all.
