These feel great with great support and cushion. I am very pleased with the quality of Reef Flip Flops, this is my 3rd pair.
My husband likes Reefs but needed more arch support so I purchased these. He is really happy with them. Look good, fit good and comfortable. Great purchase. Only thing better would have been the can opener on the sole.
Since I started wearing orthotics several years ago, I've been searching for a pair of sandals that will give me the needed arch support while allowing me the freedom of old fashioned flip flops. My search is over! The sandals look great, feel great, wear great and are the answer to my quest. When I bought them I also purchased a pair from another manufacturer that were a bit more expensive, but these blew the other pair away. Absolutely no buyer's (or wearer's) regret here!
These seem well built and I love the arch support. And though they'll probably be a great choice for most guys, I'm returning them. The straps are so loose that the sandals feel they'll fly off my feet as I walk (it doesn't help that the soles are much heavier than typical Reef Phantom-style sandals and they also lack the toe ridges that help you grip as you walk). I also felt as if my foot was sliding sideways away from the arch as I walked--probably caused by both the high arch and the loose straps that allow for all kinds of unwanted foot movement across the sole.If you have wide (or just simply large) feet, these sandals will probably be a terrific buy. My feet are normal width, but after trying many sandals and reading reviews, I'm realizing that my feet just aren't as--I don't know any other way to say it--puffy as a lot of men's feet. Perhaps a low-sodium diet and daily exercise are to blame, but these straps are so loose that they literally make no contact with my foot. So they're going back.My sense is they'll probably be a great choice for most guys, so go for it.
I wear flip flops everyday of the week summer or winter so I put a lot of miles in them and need to last. I have owned many many different brands and they usually last about 6 months and gone from either the strap pulling loose or just worn down.These Reef brand last me two years before time to replace so yes they cost a little more than some but when they last two years well then that makes up for the extra cost for me. They are very comfortable and supportive too. Win Win!!Hope this helps and thanks.
The arch support is real. Others tout it, but don't deliver. I tried a $78 pair that was supposedly all about the arch support and it was ultimately just ok, at twice the price of the Reefs. Having now tried 2 other brands, (and returned them both), I ordered my third pair of Reefs. They last me about one season if I wear them all the time. SO now I have a pair for indoors and one for outdoors and they will probably last twice as long. Excellent value for the price!!

As many other reviewers indicated already, these flip-flops are narrow. If you have wide feet, they will not be suitable for you, or you will have to exchange it. I wish Reef could have done them half inch wider.
