I was worried when I first got these because they started out a little tight, but they loosened up after a few uses and are now perfect. Very stylish, look and feel high quality, they have been holding up well after a couple months - highly recommend for a higher end sandal
I love these new Reef sandals in this leather. The first pair were a 12 which were too small for my feet despite being the size I normally wear in Reef sandals. I exchanged them for the 13's which fit perfect! Excellent flip flops and very styling, although they run a little small!
A few months back I purchased some new sandals from Amazon. They were the “Reef men’s leather smoothly sandals.” They are made of leather, have a thong, and are sized great to your shoe size. They are great sandals which is why I rated them a 4 out of 5.Ideal UserIf you are someone who is looking for a good pair of sandals to wear on the beach or on a hot, humid day, then these Reef sandals could be for you. They could also be for people who like sandals and like to wear them everywhere they go.BenefitsSome of the benefits include:•Durability- The sandals are durable so far. Rain could cause damage to your sandals but I have had them for about 6 months and there is no hint of wear.•Comfortability- They are very comfortable sandals, because of the fact that they are made of leather. The leather helps mold your foot to the sandal so it fits comfortably. Your feet might hurt at first, but after a couple weeks of wearing them, the sandals will be molded to your feet.•Style- The leather also gives it a casual brown, cool look, if you are wanting to wear them to a restaurant or something important. You are not limited to wearing them to a nice place, because since they are comfortable and made of leather, you could wear them with style of clothing.Overall these sandals are a good purchase. They are great on a warm day when you want to be causal, and they are useful when you are on a beach. You can slide them off and on when you want and they are comfortable. With the 4 out of 5 rating and benefits the sandals have, you could be making a great purchase when buying these sandals.
Good fit, good quality, hold up good so far. Nice leather and comfortable
I was excited when these flip flops arrived. My first real genuine leather flip flops. I didn’t know what to expect but knew they would be special. I was disappointed to find that they were small on me and I have a small foot. I returned them for one size larger than I normally wear and now they fit perfectly.Pros: Genuine Leather. They look and smell like real leather. They look classy and with time I can see them getting a real nice patina. The price is also a fraction of what you pay in stores for fake leather flip flops. Also returning them for a larger size was super easy. And the replacement came within two days.Cons: for me they ran one and a half size too small and narrow. I use a half size so I ordered the next highest. They were still too small, felt tight and my heel hung over the edge. I returned them for a size larger and they fit perfectly now. So if you use a half size like 8.5 order a 10. They are slick on the inside and my feet feel like they are sliding inside them when I step down. I have to find a way to get the shiny leather worn down so they are not as slippery.Conclusion: I think these flip flops were a great purchase. I can’t imagine getting this quality leather flip flops in the stores at this price. The cons are not enough to detract from the pros of buying them. It was a great investment in my opinion. I will see how they wear and decide later if I want to get their more expensive leather waterproof flip flops. I recommend these to anyone looking for genuine leather flip flops.Update:I used a very fine sand paper and gently sanded down the leather. Now they are not so slick and my feet do not slide in them. I still need to sand them a bit more. But I am wearing them and no problems with them so far.
I purchased these for the first time in 2022; I am not a repeat customer like some of the reviewers here. However, I have to agree with those long-time owners that the quality is not up to snuff on these, even coming into owning them with no expectations. I have had them for a few weeks now, and already the color has rubbed off on the “reef” lettering, which is oddly cut very deep into the sandal foot bed. Additionally, the leather on them has started to wrinkle, which you can see in the pictures from some other reviewers.The saving grace for me is that I was able to purchase these for $22. For that price, these are fine. Even with the issues, they are quite comfortable (after some breaking in). However, I would not recommend anyone purchase these for the MSRP.
Size up from your regular size it's a nice product though just a bit short in size and width
The sizing was a little off so refunded them but they're very good quality in will be looking for them to go on sale again to buy the right size.
