Bought these for my husband. They fit well and are true to size. Very high quality, nice leather. Wonderful for the price. He's happy with them, good support and comfortable.
My worries were they would not fit and I would have to return them. They fit perfectly out of the box. They were gift for a person with 4x wide feet. Soft footbed, stylish leather crafted.
The sandals appear very well made and the footbed is extremely comfortable, however I wish the strap was longer and not as thick. The strap has to be pulled completely out of the buckle in order to put it on, and when strapped it is quite tight. I'm hoping it will stretch out a bit with wear. It isn't a big enough issue to return them, but if you have a high arch or thick feet you may want to consider a wide. The length appears true to size.
Husband loves them and says they are super comfortable
The same size in this model sandal is comparable to a size 10 sandal. Thus I purchased the size 11 after trying the 10.5. Recommend that you buy the next size larger. The color & fit of this sandal is great!
I normally wear a 8.5 mens, and this 8.5 was FAR too small. Fortunately the return was easy. The sandal seems to be well-made and looks good, and I think I may try ordering a 9.5 and see if it fits.Added: I returned this through Amazon (and I have to say it was very easy to do so) and reordered the 9.5, skipping a size 9. I got the new sandals quickly, and the 9.5 are snug but very comfortable. As other reviewers have noted, I have to take the velcro back strap off to get the sandals on, but once on these are VERY nice - a soft insole that cushions the foot well, and I think they'll be durable. I just can't believe that the size is so far off from other shoes that I've owned.
Box said brown, but shoes were black. Great quality, right sizing, comfortable. Amazon was responsive and fair in addressing the mistake.
I've worn these Rockport sandals all day for the last three days without discomfort or issues. The uppers are soft leather with a comfortable liner, and they conform to the contours of my feet with no rubbing or chafing. The fit is snug around the midfoot and heel (no slipping around). I find the permanent insoles provide a rather plush, foam type response. How long the insoles maintain that amount of cushion remains to be determined. The arch support is neutral. The soles are a lightweight, firm material, but not suitable for trail use IMHO. Overall, an excellent sandal for flat surfaces.
