Comfort and versatility are the foundation of the get your kicks collection. Casual and active uppers are easy to maintain and provide a style that is distinctly Rockport. The eva outsole provides shock absorption and the infusion of adiprene by adidas sport technology provides additional cushioning. A super-soft foot bed and lightweight construction make these the perfect pair for a stress-free summer. Rockport has always been one step ahead of the times, believing the perfect shoe has not yet been invented. This positive dissatisfaction compels them to constantly improve upon their footwear. Founded in 1971, they were the first company to use advanced athletic technologies in casual shoes to achieve lightweight comfort, and the first company to engineer walking comfort in dress and casual shoes.

I have had the most difficult time finding comfortable sandals for my young adult son. We have tried on so many pairs at different stores. Who knew I'd find his perfect fit online? He has size 11 wide feet with a high instep (top of foot). Most other velcro sandals don't have enough velcro to fit his feet. He refuses to wear the sandals with the toe separator. He and I were so happy that these sandals are comfortable and fit. There is enough velcro to fit and hold his big foot in the shoe. They look very nice and stylish too. WE bought the tan color. He tells me he feels like Hermes in these sandals. I had to ask him who is Hermes - the Greek god of athletics who could easily move from place to place in his winged sandals. I bought another of these sandals in navy blue for my other son in New Mexico, who is a normal size 12. He loves his sandals too.
I wear sandals of these type pretty extensively every summer season, so comfort matters to me above all else. These are mostly comfortable sandals, but with some flaws. Below are pros and cons:Pros: Firstly, the fact that they have a foam attached to the inside of the straps makes them softer and less abrasive than most other sandals of this type on the market. They also feel sturdy, sit on the foot stably and are fairly lightweight.Cons: I purchased them a day before my departure to Europe in Aug. 2016, which turned out to be a mistake, because I never got a chance to break them in first. And this led to some suffering wearing them. After wearing them for about 1-2 days in Europe, I started getting blisters on top of my big toes. Once the blister started, it progressed pretty quickly from there and I had to switch the footwear until it healed. A week after I resumed wearing them again and since then I didn't get another blister anywhere.Another flaw with them is that the bottom can get slippery, in hot and humid conditions when the foot starts to sweat. The slipperiness can get pretty severe, to the point that I almost fell a couple of times walking in them.Despite some of its flaws, the stability, quality and overall comfort of these sandals at this price makes them a solid footwear product.
I am very happy with this purchase. They replaced a pair of 10-year-old Rockports that finally "fell apart." Rather then trying to find a similar pair in stores, I decided to try getting them online. These are well-made and fit perfectly. They also have the adjustable straps across the toes like my old pair. (I can't) wear sandals with the strap between the toes.) My feet are size 10 1/2 D and these are a great and comfortable fit.I think I'll order another pair because once you find something really good, because it may not be available the next time you want a replacement.
Very disappointed.3rd pair of these in past six years. First pair lasted 4 years. 2nd pair lasted two years. Most recent pair last 4 months. Bottom totally separated from the upper part. And I took better care of this pair (and wore them way less) than previous two pairs. Love the style and comfort but quality of recent pair is poor compared to original pair, which would have rated excellent. Hate to change what was a very good sandal but no value if it only lasts a few months.
Comfortable and easy to clean. Despite what some others said, the sizing seemed correct for me. They have held up great for the past 6 months of occasional wear with no signs of delamination.Much better than flip flops that irritate your toes. Take less than 5 seconds to get on and off. I never remove the front strap. They attach securely to the foot and provide a lot of mobility. I have no problem running in them.
I wear a size 14 and these were huge . . . besides that, the width of the velcro straps is too wide and unattractive. Now granted these were big on me but the top strap was still too long (similar to my Teva's that do fit me) and the velcro doesn't extend to the ends of the straps so the ends curl up and look bad. . . they did feel comfortable and supportive in the arch. Shame, the price was really good at 35 dollars. . . had to return
Comfortable to wear, but only suitable for light-duty walking.I know, because I'm wearing now an earlier manufactured Rockport model (same one, bought l5 years ago) which is all around of heavier design, particularly the sole, and still quite wearable.Unlike the earlier one mentioned, this one features an adjustable back strap; quite useful.Quality remains the same - excellent.
Straps feel a little thicker than I expected. Comfy bottom. Not too cushy or memory-foam nonsense. Feels like it'll break in really well. Much more sturday than the Teva's or the like. Adjustable back is always good as well.
