I’ve been buying this exact shoe for my daughter for the past 3 years. We have them from size 5-10. They are the only sandals that work on her narrow feet. They are sturdy, comfortable and have held up great! I justified spending the money on them thinking my next daughter would wear them. Unfortunately, her feet are too wide to fit in them comfortably. I’d still recommend them if your kid has narrow to normal feet. They are so cute. The red goes with everything.
These sandals were fantastic this summer. I bought them for my 5 year old daughter in pink and in white. The color was exactly as pictured, the fit was perfect to her normal size and the quality was excellent. She wore them all summer long even in the water and at the beach and they held up beautifully. She also wore them for 10 days in Disney World when we were doing ALOT of walking and she seemed to be the only one with no blisters or sore feet. Good little shoes at a great price. I will definitely buy more next summer.
This is my daughter's third pair of Salt Water Sandals. She has had two pairs of the ones that buckle over her foot, that we have loved, plain white and then in pink with the heart cut outs, sizes 6.5 and 8. They have fit her well, lasted a long time, and are easy to clean. I love the construction of these, with the smooth finish foot bed. I've seen other Sun-San sandals online and it looks like the foot bed lays on top of the straps and to me it looks like it may peel away or trap dirt, so I haven't bought them.What I don't love about these is the buckle. My daughter is three and not adept enough to buckle the shoes herself. Takes us a minute or two longer to get out the door! But, I still love them, and love how it's a little girl's shoe and not a smaller version of what grown-ups wear (e.g. animal print, ankle zip sandals, etc.). The price is great at Amazon, too!
I love these sandals and more importantly my picky 10 yr old loves them too!! Her foot is just a bit over 8 1/2 inches and normal width (not narrow). The size 3 big kid fits perfectly with lots of room to grow. These have the soft thick soles and are her favorite color bright red!! These may not be the authentic brand (box says they are made in China) and the shoe does NOT say USA. Shipping was very speedy!!UPDATE- it's been almost a year and these sandals still fit and after much hard play, still look great!!! They are comfortable too!
2 spring/summers in a row now, the only shoe my daughter will ask for/wear are her Salt Water sandals. It makes it easy on me. These shoes last all summer with continuous wear, from playing at the park to riding bikes, and even church. They may even have some life left in them for little sister next summer. They are a great value.
We have had several pairs of these precious sandals for our granddaughters. They come in great colors and are very durable! They are comfortable and wear well. The only complaint I have is that the center strap is too short! The size is perfect but we always have to put it in the last hole, which makes it hard to buckle. Just don’t understand… the holes along the strap would never work for the size of the sandal.But, they are such great shoes, we make do with that minor flaw!
I bought these for the 3 1/2 and 5 year old boys. One with wide feet and the other with very slender narrow feet. At first I thought they were too narrow for the younger but after he insisted on wearing them I let him keep them. Since then they have stretched perfectly to fit his feet. I had read to maybe put your child in the bath with the sandals on to stretch/soften them up-though I didn't do that I think it would be a good idea. The older one did get a blister the very first time wearing them but I think it was because the strap wasn't synched tight enough. We haven't had a problem since and they both wear them every single day. Great shoes- plus they are both learning how to use a buckle which is great.
These are great little sandals, my kids love the originals and these are just much softer. I wish the sole was thinner like the original but with the flexibility of the "Swimmer" but that's my only complaint.These definitely run very large but once you get the right size they're great. No blisters, no shoes coming up missing after a stroller ride, they're adorable and comfortable.We buys them every year and will continue to do so!
