These have held up well over the past month of use. They are used in shower, sauna, and steam room of the gym. They dry nicely and have not mildewed. I think these are more expensive than they need to be. I could probably drill holes in other flip flops and achieve the same effect.
My husband uses these to shower at the pool. He uses them almost everyday. They last a really long time & he finds that they don't slip on wet floors the way normal flip-flops do.
The soles are heavy, like a thick yoga mat, and they can pull on the top of the foot leaving blisters if you try to walk and wear these to the beach. But, they are shower flip flops, and they are cushiony and perfect for that purpose. I with they were a little more versatile though.
Very comfortable and easy to adjust for high arched feet, wearing when washing cars
Our son says they work well, they allow the water to drain so he does not feel like he is walking on wet sponges..
I reviewed this before and gave it a higher rating. Functionally it is great. However, I just discovered that the material is giving off an odor of Urine. I keep them in a small bathroom (8' x 4' x 7' high) and for some time have noticed an odor of urine as if the toilet was leaking. Cleaned the toilet and floor and found no leaks from the toilet. Today, I smelled the Showaflops and discovered that the urine odor was coming from the flops. I cleaned them with Oxi-Clean, but the odor persists. I guess I will have to let them dry out then place them in a zip lock bag to keep the odor down.
I purchased these for my son to wear in college, after purchasing Showaflops for my daughter the past 4 years during her time in college! These Showaflops are a MUST for any college student!
I had to return these flip flops because the blue dye from the rubber sole was constantly bleeding onto my feet and toes after just a few minutes of wearing them after swimming. I found myself having to dry my feet thoroughly, and between my toes, right after swimming, before I could even put them on. Even then, some of the dye would rub off on my feet and toes. What a nuisance. Avoid this product.
