Bought these for my husband. First pair was a size 10, his regular show size. They were way to big. Second pair was a size 8 and fit perfectly. They are very comfortable but run large. So other than the inconvience of returning the first pair, these are very nice sandals.
Issues: sizing, fit, comfort, materialsThese sandals are crazy. I already have a big foot. I wear a size 14 sneaker, so I ordered a 14 sandal. They are sized WAY too big. My Nautica sandals, which these were to replace, fit correctly at size 14. They are also tall like platform shoes. I'm 6'2". I don't need freaking platform shoes! I had to take these off to drive because they left me no leg room. The outsole should be about half the height it is. There is SO MUCH travel in the foam insole it feels like I have hydraulic suspension in my feet with each step. Some might think that's a good thing, but when you combine that amount of travel compression with a SUPER high arch and material that makes your feet sweaty but doesn't absorb moisture, it makes walking very difficult because your feet are constantly moving around in the oversized shoe and making you unstable. If there is anything good about it, it's that due to all this extra movement, you overwork your calf muscles to help stabilize, so they'll be nicely toned after a while.Absolutely the worst pair of sandals I've ever worn. The search continues. 1 out of 10 - DO NOT recommend. Don't buy them.

The sole of the sandal is too high. The arch support was good, but the sole itself is too high to walk in.

I don't get the negative reviews. people with fit problems should probably get fitted in person. i bought these online directly from Skechers and couldn't be happier. first, the olive is a great color. Wear it weekly with khakis, button-down white shirts, shorts, yoga pants, cargo pants, etc. secondly, i chose this model for the adjustable strap because I am female, wide foot, high instep (thanks, dad). This is the perfect solution for me and I've been wearing this type of design in very inexpensive brands but decided to get something more sturdy and better built than the throwaway sandals from that blue and gold starburst place. I wear those for chores around the house but I wear these to get the real job of living done. looking at buying another color in these and a woman's version in yet another color. Also I will be packing these for the neighborhood Y to use on the pool deck. easy in, easy out, great traction. Love how I can just reach down and give it a loosening when my feet become fatigued after a day of . . . well, doing everything. Although I wish I had caught these models on sale, I feel they've been worth every penny. I feel kind of upscale when I wear them, knowing they are sturdy and resilient. No flip-flops here, not to mention that annoying toe callous. Luv my Skechers. . . a brand I wore years ago and just got into purchasing again. Cannot beat the Skechers product for its price point. And I have about 5 pairs of their running and casual sneakers as well. Every new pair of Skechers is like finding a new favorite flavor from the Skechers box of goodies.
