His old pair had worn out and his feet were really starting to hurt. He tried another pair of that didn’t turn out and we had to return them. So I found these, and we are very grateful that he likes them a lot, they were comfortable right from the beginning. He wears them almost every day so it’s really great that they’re so comfortable for him!

This is my second pair for backup purposes, in case this relax fit style is discontinued, like other brands did with my favored ones. This review is for my three moth old pair of the same...The model name of relax is certainly justified. The size is over sized by about a 1/2 a size or so. The result is a very comfortable strap, hardly noticeable both over the feet and between the toes, but stay on the feet. If you don't like the loose fit, you may want to get one size under your show size.The sole is soft, almost as soft as my old Columbia flip flops used to be; yes, discontinued. It also provides some arch support, maybe not as much as some people would like. For me, it's just fine. After three month, there's a noticeable indent under the hill, it is actually more comfortable than the new one was.In three month, it looks like a raggedy, old pair; the upper dark brown strap turns in to light brown strap, but retains the orange and brown stitch colors. I am not certain, if the strap changes color on its own; my turned color after getting the straps wet.I recommend these flip flops to anyone, who like loose fit and soft sole...
Comfortable shoes
These are the flip flops I've been hunting for all my life. I have always had BIG feet, not just long (size 14) but XX Wide and very tall arches. Usually it takes a while to break in the straps because the balls of my feet are tall as well. THESE WERE THE FIRST FLIP FLOPS THAT WERE COMFORTABLE THE FIRST TIME I PUT THEM ON. The soles are very dense and I dont see them wearing down and flattening out anytime soon.The other thing I like is that usually these rubber soled flip flops make the bottom of my feet sweat and get pretty funky fast - not these. Two days of wearing them and no issues.I'll update this if I run into any of the issues others listed (thong breaking loose, etc) but so far I'd recommend these for anyone like me that rarely finds flip flops BIG enough (people with very narrow/flat feet might not like these FWIW)
It is a wide sandal, the way they were made in years past. This is a second pair for me and they are worth the money.
