These are great for my 2 year old. He loves them. Nice and soft, easy on and off. They do run big, which I knew as we bought some last summer too. I got him an 8, his foot measures a 9. His tennis shoes, which we got fitted at a kid’s shoe store are a 9.5 and both the size 8 tevas and 9.5 tennis shoes fit well. In short, they seem to run a full size big. He wore the sandals into the store and they agreed that those were the correct size for him. They sell these at that store and said they run big as well. In any event, love the shoes, just account for the size!
I ordered these for my son for the summer. I figured based on the reviews that they would be huge, so I ordered his current size in hopes they would last him for the summer (toddler size 5). They aren't any tooooo big like I expected, but they will definitely last him plenty long with the open fronts.We LOVE Teva sandals and these are no exception. They seem super comfortable - I love the mesh! They are also easy enough for my two year old to practice putting on and taking off (with some help). The adjustability is great, especially since my little guy has smaller feet - they would definitely fit a wide range of widths.Overall, I just wanted to note that I didn't find them to run as big as others had said. However, they are perfect and I will continue to buy Teva sandals for my son every summer! They hold up so well and wash off nicely - perfect for a wild and active little boy.
I have a wide footed toddler, and these are great since you can dictate how tight or loose they can be. They do well in water and dry well. The perfect “summer shoe” for my little guy. We actually bought these for last summer, and I just purchased the next size up for this summer while they were on sale. Good quality wide shoes that don’t cost a fortune are hard to come by in toddler sizes.
Not only do these sandals fit my toddler with a high instep (chunky feet) very well, they are extremely comfortable! He has never had a blister from wearing them even in the water and all day long. We got two entire summers worth of wear out of our first pair, and they’re still in such good shape his little brother will be wearing them when he’s bigger. 10/10 would recommend.
My almost 2 year old son has wide feet and the sandals I bought him (from a popular children's shoe store) at the beginning of the summer were size 6W, but the velcro strap was barely long enough to fasten them. I finally got tired of them and started looking on Amazon for new sandals. I'm so glad I found these because I love the style and I love that, even though they don't come specifically in wide width, it's really adjustable and are plenty wide for his big feet. Because it doesn't come in half sizes, I ordered a size 7, knowing they'd probably be a little bit big and they are, but I'm able to fasten them tight enough and they aren't so long that he trips over them. The quality seems great, as expected from Teva, and my son seems to be comfortable in them, so I'm happy with this purchase. As long as I can still buy this same shoe next year, I'll be ordering him another pair in the spring!
The sandals are very very good. I will be buying my grandson the next size up because his foot probably will grow for next summer, of course. But easy to put on take off. Great quality.
This brand, style and color of sandal is exactly what I was looking for and met my expectations... although I do have some questions as to whether I received a "rejected" pair.The foot bed is squishy, flexible, sturdy and lightweight. The sole is durable and non slip. The straps are cushioned, breathe well and dry fast. They are fully adjustable. Perfect for our Disney trip!However, the top and bottom straps don't line up perfectly with their coordinating velcro strips without some manipulation of how it wraps over the foot and lays. It is difficult to explain, but I wonder if I had purchased directly from Teva instead of Amazon if I would have noticed the same complication or if these were from a "goof up" batch. Either way, they were priced right and worked just fine (but my toddler can't get them on by himself without either having velcro rub against his skin or the sandal flopping on his foot a bit.
These are great for my baby boy that loves to run and jump all over the place. Anti slip and comfortable for his chubby little feet.
