All the materials are high quality, soft, comfy, but the size it’s a little bit small, I use 9.5 so I ordered 10 and it’s just tight. Maybe adding the next size would be even more comfy.
I have had similar shoes like this made by Merrill for the past 20 years, but could not find a new one that had the quality and comfort I was used to. So I tried these after reading the reviews and from now on I will go to Teva's first.
I bought a pair of Teva's 4 years ago and the quality is top notch. The microfiber foot bed is very soft and comfortable and they give good support. I wear mine from spring through fall approximately 6 hours per day at least. They were still in reasonable condition but there was a crack developing underneath my big toe on one sandal. They were also slightly large. I should have bought one size smaller. The Langdon is the closest style to what I had before, I don't remember the name of them. I usually wear a size 9.5 in most shoes of any style. It is odd because my foot length measures 10.5 inches. This time I ordered size 9 instead of 10 (like the 4 year old ones). One thing you have to realize is that the top part of the sandal will stretch after you have worn them for a while. Some reviews state that you cannot push your foot forward into the sandal all the way because the top is too small. To make sure they are the right size when you get them just force your foot forward as far as you can and if your toes are at the front and your heel isn't hanging off the back you have the right size. Once they stretch they will fit well. Here is my method of cleaning these sandals so they will look brand new again after the oils from your feet make them look shiny or dirty. Fill a sink with hot water and add Dawn dish soap. Let them soak upside down so the foot bed is in contact with the water (they float). Soak them for at least 20 to 30 minutes. Sacrifice a toothbrush and scrub the entire sandal. I stand them up on end preferably outside in the sun if you can and let them dry naturally.Once you have tried these Teva's you probably won't buy anything else.
Being a big Teva fan for many yrs, I wanted a slide shoe due to my old but sturdy Teva flip flops being too uncomfortable, no fault of the shoe. So found these & decided on the size 10, (being a 10.5 size) which is almost perfect, maybe a bit small'sh (as seen in pic 2, apologies for the ugly battered foot 🙄) ... & would be quite comfortable if not for a design groove encircling the sole just inside the framing (see pic 1) making if a bit uncomfortable on my heel. I would like to try a size 11 but am sure that may fit a bit too large and make the sandal too loose & mobile, so I'll stick to this and hope my heels get use to it or wear them in.Otherwise Very good quality & comfort. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for in most cases/products!Hope this helps
I grew up in Thailand, hot and humid. So I wore flipper all my life. This flippers is the best, thick sole support, very sturdy and very comfortable for my wide feet
These are the most comfortable sandals ever…just slip them on; no break in period!!
This slide is by far the best fitting, most comfortable, and probably the nicest looking I have ever owned. I live in FL and when I'm not working I really don't like wearing any type of closed shoe. I had flip flops with that pole between the toes so slides have become my shoe of choice under most conditions. I've tried (and owned) at least 20 different types and probably close to that many brands. You can pay upwards of $100 for some, but that isn't necessary. I've found that almost all the teva slides are very good but this pair fits so good and the suede like leather sole is so comfortable. I wish they had a tad more arch support but I won't ding them on that. Like other teva's I expect they are made extremely well and will last for at least a couple years (not an easy task considering how rough I am on shoes). So go ahead and spend a little more money than than what most slides run, you can't go wrong with Teva's especially this model.Other things to note these are not adjustable so I imagine some folks will not find them a perfect fit like I did.The sole is very thick and profides super shock absorption (which is rare for slides) The tracks on the bottom are excellent and I haven't seen them slip on any surface. I wouldn't play tennis in these but I could actually run if needed (they fit me that good).
These slides were very stiff upon arrival. They have very firm arch support, and when coupled with the stiffness, these slides took more than 2 weeks to "break-in" to be sufficiently comfortable to wear regularly. They also seem to run just a bit small in size as compared to every other shoe I have ordered in this size, and I developed a blister where the left slide rubbed the outer, upper edge of my foot because the band was tight around my foot. After a couple of weeks, they relaxed quite a bit. The soles flex much better now, and they are now fairly comfortable to wear. I would not buy again, but I will probably keep them for around-the-house wear.
