love them but I think these are a little bit bigger than what the size chart shows for the sizing

Edit: I actually realize that these run a little big so I got out the tape measure and the size 8 that I received is 11 in from heel To toe when the description on the sizing chart says 10 inches from heel To toe,. When I first got these I'm like oh yeah these pretty good but then I start to notice they kind of want to slide off your feet sometimes and how much extra room I really had. So these really aren't side correctly I guess..... besides that they're very very nice so I might need to get a size smaller I don't know.Original review:I can't quote on how durable these are going to be yet, if I have any problems with them I will edit this review and let you all know but so far I'm really enjoying these.the footbed itself was a little harder than I would have expected at first but walking around on them for a little while they start to feel a bit more squishy so they might need broken in a little bit. The footbed might be a little bit stiff but the tread is very squishy. What I mean by that is I stepped on a pretty decent sized piece of gravel and I can barely feel that I stepped on it so the atrend must have like squished around it. that's exactly the kind of thing I would expect from like an outdoor hiking type of shoe or whatever. Overall they seem very comfortable overall. they look like they're extremely well-made, they've got big thick tread on the bottom. I usually wear a size 8 or a size 9 depending on the brand of the shoe,. I ordered these in the 8th after looking at the sizing chart and they fit just perfect, from my heel to the toe my foot's about nine inches and three quarters in size 8 it's just right. when I slide my foot in there might just make sure I slide it up all the way in the Aryan my feet seem to stay put very well the top doesn't seem to be rubbing any blisters on the top of my feet or anything. So far so good except.......I ordered dark brown ones and Amazon sent me the light gray ones,. I'm looking at the order right now and I definitely ordered the dark brown ones, somebody screwed up big-time,. Big time but I'm fine with the gray ones, I just thought the darker color looked a little more manly LOLif I happen to have any issues with these I'll make sure to edit the review and let you guys know I read a lot of reviews on these even outside of Amazon it sounds like these are super durable Wwll made sandals.

second pair after 10 yrs - good size match

My previous ones died after 10 years. These new ones fit better than the previous which ran larger. I wear a 12 and these are a perfect fit. I also have flat feet and these are very comfortable with good contour, but not over arched like some others I've tried. They have a firm sole which is comfortable and not too soft such that it doesn't feel spongy when walking on carpet. I'm going to order a spare pair right now as I really love these and the fit.

Very durable and good looking, runs bit small

I am a flip flop hater and I love these style sandals. These are decently comfortable (could be softer) and very good looking. They are designed well and very durable, long lasting. The only thing is they run a bit small, not lengthwise but it was hard to get my foot to fit inside dome, if you will. I usually wear 11.5 but sized up to 12 because 11 didn't cut it. The 12s are good but I need to stretch them out a bit. All that being said, I still think everything is overpriced these days. These are more like 45 dollar sandals rather than 60 dollar. Oh well.

You Get What You Pay For

I have/had been wearing cheap (>$3) "flip-flops" all my life. Usually the thong between the toe breaks in 1-2 years and you buy another one. Throw-aways basically. No arch support. Maybe 3/8" thick smooth "sole" before you squash the rubber down, so you get no protection (or traction) if you walk in a muddy or watery grassy field or paved area. But as one gets older, develops Achilles tendonitis and other walking issues, and the MD recommends footwear that has arch support and "holds" the foot in place, one has to invest in more "costly" footwear. You know, the cost-benefit analysis. So, I went to a "footwear specialty" store (the kind that does the fancy purported "footprint/walking analysis") which turned out to be NOT the one my MD recommended. Oops, my bad (I thought it was!). But the lady was nice, did not push nor had me do the "analysis" and seemed knowledgeable about footwear and sandals. So, after trying 15 or so somewhat shop-worn, floor model pairs, with all kinds of attending comments, she said THIS Teva slide "fit me like a glove." OK, they were comfortable, so "SOLD!" When she rung me up, she REALLY "rang me up" to the tune of $100 plus tax!! But anything for my (foot) health, right? And I guess I was "paying" for her "expertise" and 30 minutes of "service", right? Well, came home with the "used" pair, and went on Amazon to see how much it was online, in case I wanted/needed another one. Much to my surprise, the lady had (also) rung me up for the wrong pair. The pictures of the slide and especially the underside of the sole on Amazon did not match the name of the slide. She had charged me for the "Langdon" model when I actually bought this "Katavi". AND, based on the Amazon price, I had paid about $40 more to her. What a rip off!! But I guess: 1) I paid for her "service"; and 2) I was able to try a lot of shop-worn pairs at her store and would have never been able to "whittle down" my selection to this pair on Amazon without a lot of effort. So, kinda "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me." After about a year of wearing the store-bought slide, it seems to be holding up pretty well. But it's not like I wear it for a long time every day or it goes thru really harsh conditions. The band that holds the top of the foot has become a little loose, but it still holds/cradles the foot in place. I also love the thickness & deep "tire" pattern on the sole bottom, so that you've got a lot of traction and protection in muddy or uneven surfaces. So I decided to get another (this time new) pair for the future. For the (better) price that Amazon charges, if this new slide lasts for about 5 years (as I expect they will), it WILL be a better value (comfort, support and protection) than the flip-flops.

Comfortable & Supportive

These are very well made & comfortable for me. I wear a 10.5 EE shoe and these fit in a size 11. They were a bit tight in the beginning and I almost returned them, but I wore them around the house for a day or two and they stretched enough that they now feel right. A bit snug but in a good way. They have a big arch support, which might not be for everybody, but I find it quite comfortable, as well. All in all, they are a success, and I very much like wearing them.

Fit is perfect. Very comfy. They seem very durable for its intended purpose. I'll be using these as house slippers to replace my crocs. So far, I'm VERY happy!
