Ten years ago, I was known as a collector of flip-flops of all styles and materials. I used to wear a different pair every day. It was kind of nutty but I had fun!Over time, when choosing which flip-flops to wear, I gravitated more and more to the Teva Mush II. They just seemed like good familiar shoes to put on. I could wear them all day or walk a long way in them, and my feet never hurt. Now I'm on about my eighth or ninth pair of them. I don't buy any of the other kinds anymore. When you first buy these, the tops are flat and they are too tight. But that only lasts a few days, and then they shape themselves to exactly fit your feet. They're really comfortable like that for quite a while. Gradually, they wear out just by continuing to be mush. After a while, there's not enough left to pad your feet anymore. But that's like a whole year of wearing them day and night (or the same amount of wear spread out.)These do have arch support built in, and because they shape to your feet, they give you support where you need it. But you still need better support for athletic endeavors! These only have enough support for casual use.
I absolutely love these flip-flops. They are more comfortable than running shoes, even when going on long walks. I have worn them on numerous vacations involving a lot of walking each day. They have the perfect amount of thickness, where you have a lot of cushioning, but they still feel like flip-flops. They last a long time, but eventually the treads wear down. So this is my second pair after getting several heavy-use years out of my first pair. My feet are just smaller than 10.5, so my first pair was 11.0. They were slightly loose, but I never had an issue with them slipping off. I decided to try the 10.0 for the new pair, and I'm glad I did. They fit very well, as you can see in the picture. So if you are a little under 10.5, I would go with the 10.0. If you are over 10.5, the 11.0 would fit well.
I went to the Teva website looking for my favorite flip flop, the Mush II Canvas. I was dismayed to find that they were out of EVERY size (not sure what the point was for them to still have that item on their website, but I digress). I was afraid that I would have to find another favorite flip flop. Fortunately, Amazon came through with the Teva flip flop I was looking for, in my size. I was a little concerned that it would not be exactly the same as my worn-out flip flop. Their products have been known to evolve from time to time. But when my new flops arrived, they were precisely what I was hoping for. One thing all Teva flip flop fans probably noticed is that their Mush II flops don't last as long as they used to. Seems like the originals had a tougher bottom surface that lasted a crazy long time. Now, while they are still excellent and very comfy flops, they don't last as long. Planned obsolescence, I guess. I'm not pleased about it, but no one else makes a flip flop quite as nice as the Tevas.
I have had several mush 2 flip flops. These seem to have a harder sole. They do no squish like they used to. I like the softer feel of the older style. Overall nice quality.
This is my third purchase of these Tevas. The shoe forms to my feet and has a nice cushion. They do not hurt my feet and I prefer the canvas material over the other Teva flip flops.
This is my 5th pair of these. I'm on my feet in heavy work boots all day, and these are the first thing I put on after a long day. They feel great and they hold up for years before the memory foam starts to flatten out. Wouldn't suggest wearing them all day, but great around the house and the yard.
These are the best flips I wear. Light and they conform to my feet and last a long time. Well made.
These are nice flip-flops. They are stylish and comfortable. I like the thick sole for the rigidity (keeping the shape) with just a little bend as you walk. The thickness also helps keep your feet dry is you are around water on the ground.
