These are the quality and size I would expect with Teva. My son wears a 5.5 shoe so we ordered a half size up to be safe but they still seem quite large, I hope he will grow into them by summer. The frustrating thing with these, but I don't think I can mark the product down because of this--we ordered them for a trip to Hawaii. We were leaving on a Tuesday evening but the product said it would be delivered by Monday (I had discovered last-minute that my son's water shoes were too small). Then, despite normal weather and no given reason, they were not delivered and then I received a message that it was unknown if/when they would be delivered. So frustrating. My neighbor picked them up for us Wednesday on our porch, the day after we left.
THIS SANDAL FITS VERY COMFORTABLY AND LOOKS GREAT ON HIS FEET. IT IS A TERRIFIC BUY AND WORKS FOR OUR HOT SUMMER MONTHS.
I have bought Teva Sandals for my grandson every summer for the last 8 years. They are impossible to wear out, great for play and the beach. No problems is they get wet, they dry out quickly. Sturdy and hold his feet well.
Wore these for a rainforest/waterfall hike. In the dry areas they were perfect and very comfortable. Once they got wet, I felt like my feet began to slide toward the front. It created a sense of insecurity for the remainder of the hike. I do not recommend these of you expect to be climbing up rocks (especially if slippery). But for regular hiking these may work out perfectly.

Great show. Runs a little large but still worked out great and will fit my son longer. He just started wearing size 4 shoes and we got these in a 4 and he could have probably fit into a 3 but doesn't trip on these so we kept them.
same size as a women's 7 but, much less!
Great water shoe sandal. Can be used for light hiking.
