The inside of the straps are padded, and they are thicker soled, and more comfortable than I imagined! I highly recommend these. I wore them for a week in Costa Rica and they were so excellent for all the terrain without being slippery. The jagged bottom and the thicker sole made them perfect for everything I was doing.I am a middle-age, female and prefer comfort over everything. Ha ha.My husband tried them on and loved them so much. He ordered a pair for himself. We love how they are adjustable by the toes and then around the ankle. This is so great for people that tend to swell when on their feet for prolonged periods of time and need to adjust the straps for that. These are going to last a long time they are so well-made.
I'm an avid hiker and love wearing these during the summer. I also wear them as everyday shoes - I love the color, they don't stain easily, and the bottom is very grippy. They are extremely cushioned and comfortable, and I love the adjustable straps. Totally recommend these!

I love these Tevas. Well made and very comfortable, solid and sturdy. I also bought some knock-offs and they are ok but the "real thing" is indeed a little better. There is a noticeable difference. Nothing cheap about these shoes. They look good and feel good.
Tmi alert- I have wide, sweaty feet with particularly long big toes and a tendency toward blisters due to rubbing.This makes it a bit difficult to find open active footwear with straps that sit where and how they’re supposed to, without injury and/or my big toes finding their way off the sandal lolI don’t have that problem with these. They’re comfy, sturdy, easy to clean.. everything i wanted💜
I like the color, style and price at Amazon for this Teva, but the Velcro straps are too short for wide feet. This is fine for medium or narrow feet, but not for wide feet. Footbed is also not cushiony and not as comfortable.
I usually wear a 10 in Teva flip flops so I ordered a 10 in these Teva sandals, but they were about a half size too big so I had to return them. They also looked orthopedic and unflattering on my feet. A bit bulky. They were comfortable, though. The blue was pretty.
I love this sandal! After months of searching for a good hiking sandal I found these. I wanted a cute sandal that could also handle rugged hikes and would be good in water, like the the Chacos that I had for over a decade. I wouldn't say they are the cutest, but they look alright and the comfort far outweighs my care about super cuteness. I got 2 pairs of Chacos deleivered at the same time and these Tevas were the winner. I love the flexibility of the sole plus the neoprene cushioning around the straps really enhances the comfort level too. I would have loved them in purple (if they even come in that color) but the light green ones were only available so I went with them. I wore them camping, hiking, and swimming in a rocky lake and a river and they were perfect for it all. I hope they hold up for a while!
