For our customers that wear half sizes follow these guidelines: If you wear a size 9 1/2 and have a narrow foot choose a size 9. If you wear a size 9 1/2 and have a wide foot choose a size 10 There are also three adjustable Velcro straps to customize your sandal for comfort and ensure the perfect fit. NOTE A large majority of people have a natural toe-out angle of 5 to 7 degrees. For this reason the outsole radii and the radius centers were selected so that a line drawn through the centers would be horizontal when the toe-out angle is 6 degrees. This ensures the shoe sole would be near the widest position for left and right balance. FEATURES: Outsole is TPR (Thermo Plastic Rubber. Thermo Plastic Rubber is one of the latest technologies used to create mold-injected soles, including polymers and high tech resins. This sole offers superior comfort to ordinary die cut soles, because it is flexible like a traditional leather sole but also washable and more durable. Midsole is EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate. The midsole is that part of the shoe (sandwiched between the upper and the outsole) that provides cushioning and rebound, and helps protect the foot from feeling hard or sharp objects. If it is well made, it will follow the foot line. EVA stands for ethel vinyl acetate. It is a man-made material that is considered foam. EVA materials consist of thousands of tiny bubbles joined together that hold air. When compressed, these bubbles provide cushioning and shock absorption, making EVA an ideal material for performance footwear.

Sandal helped my wife walk on sand immediately despite Balance disorder. Has not done that in many decades. We walk the beach together once again. Company is very good at communication and delivery was extremely quick. Sandal so life changing.
I completely ruptured my Achilles tendon in January. Although I was able to walk quite normally by August, I wore these sandals on a beach vacation for greater stability on sand. They worked fine on both dry and wet sand, as well as on pavement. The photo on the right shows the difference between my husband’s barefoot prints and my Shore Shoe prints on the right. I think you’ll see that these shoes definitely allowed me to walk without sinking into the sand. They even worked well on softer dry sand, though I used a little more caution in that case. They were true to size and surprisingly comfortable despite there being no cushion at all on the innersole. The Velcro straps helped me adjust the fit. These sandals dry pretty easily, but I did pull open the straps to speed up the process. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a beach vacation. One thought: I wore these at almost 9 months post injury and was able to walk confidently in ordinary shoes and sandals on hard floor or pavement. Anyone with serious balance issues or in early recovery from injury might still need to think hard before walking on sand or any uneven shifting surface, with or without these shoes.
These shoe are perfect for support when walk-in not only on the beach but also in the yard and around the house. They keep you stable, feel comfortable and with the adjustable straps you can have the fir you need. I love them. I use them to help me while walking around the house and when I am working in the yard. The shoes are also comfortable for walking on the boardwalk, sidewalks, roads, and especially on the beach. I recommend them to everyone whom have balance issues when walking and/or for anyone who just need a comfortable shoe to walk around in.
