My husband plays pickleball 7days a week for 4hrs. This is his shoes he wears and he loves it. He said great stability bc it is wide. He bought one size up. This is his second pair as he plays a lot so they dont really last which is fine. You are supposed to change out shoes often anyways. Highly recommend bc the fit is great once you play for a long time, your feet will swell but this shoes allows room for comfort. Traction is great on the concrete court. Jumping is great as the supports prevents you from getting an ankle injury. He had another pair from Asics and it game him an immediate ankle sprain because that shoe the heel was too narrow. Get the Addison wide heel shoes, it is best for jumping.
Using them for Padel! Great control!
Comfortable but very snug. Might need to order half size larger.
Fits great, very comfortable. Fast delivery. Like it! Thanks!
First they are about as ugly as they look on Amazon. I feel like I should be stealing my 5 year old niece’s Frozen princess dress and tutu to wear them. Definitely getting strange looks at the gym!Second there is ZERO breathability. I don’t think anyone is wearing these at the Australian Open or the flesh would melt off their bones.Lastly and most importantly on court:The rear support is so tall and so thick that any stopping motion and any running causes immediate rubbing and discomfort. This isn’t something that one can wear into this shoe. They are almost impossible to put on. My deep water scuba gear is easier to get on and off. A space suit is easier to get in and off and looks better.I think Addidas wanted to make a statement shoe and they did. The problem is that the statement is that the shoes are more important than the wearer/player. And to me that is completely wrong.I’ve ordered a different shoe and will likely be switching brands.Don’t waste a penny on these!
When I first tried them on they LOOKED huge but then I realized it was a wide base and it all makes sense. Needs some breaking in and careful tightening. They're not every-day wear. I love them in yellow. They "hurt good" is what I would say. Solid performer for me. I play paddle tennis with them.
Reviews seemed great but due to how this shoe is constructed and the materials used there is a really terrible pinch point at the big toe that is extremely painful. Walked a few times in them to see if it would break in but came to the conclusion that I wouldn’t be able to play any sports in them due to this issue. Color and styling was great. Just not the shoe for me
I play tennis about 4 times a week. I bought these shoes exactly 2 months ago from today and I already have them peeling at the big toe. This is the second pair I’ve purchased and it happened with the first pair as well. You can feel the depression inside the shoe as well. They are great shoes when in tact, but for $120, not worth it.
