I normally wear Asics gel challenger 12s for hard courts but haven't been able to find my size so these were given to me as a gift. Not only do they look fantastic but they are light yet grounded enough for hard court. There was no need for break in time. Nice roomy toebox too. I wear a 7.5 in Asics but in these I take a 7.
I used these Court shoes for Pickelball and they are amazing! My feet don't fatigue anymore because I'm getting good blood flow (unlike another brand I had). They are forgiving width wise, so not for the narrow footed. I'd buy these again... love the color too!
I bought these because I usually wear Adidas running shoes at work and I have to replace them every three months because the toes get holes. I saw that these have reinforced toes, so I'm very hopeful that they'll last longer than my running shoes. They also just feel very sturdy, which I suppose could mean I lose a little of the flexibility of the running shoes. Also, Amazon recommended that I size up, as did many of the comments. I still ordered my normal Adidas size and these fit great. I would have regretted it if I had gone up half a size. So if you're familiar with Adidas and know exactly what your size is, it might be best to stick with it. As far as I can tell, these are true to size.
LIKES:- Has a pleasant amount of padding inside- Stylish color combo (I got the coral/purple/white iteration)- Great sole construction- Shoe’s tongue stays well in-placeDISLIKE:- Fabric loop/eyelet wasn’t secure. It snapped from its inner seam in the process of lacing as I was on the court with these shoes for the first time. :(OVERALL: This is a good court shoe for a recreational player like me. I’m no pro, but I hustle and slide a lot during rallies. The fit is slightly enlarged. So, I recommend sizing down a half-size from your usual.
I have a Morton’s neuroma in my left foot, so it’s very important that I have a wide enough toe box. I’ve literally tried on about 20 pairs of shoes for pickleball and none have been comfortable. I normally wear a size 8-8.5 and the 8’s fit great. So, maybe they run a bit big, but that works for me. I’ve already ordered another pair! Price is reasonable compared to a lot of other shoes that I tried.
I ordered these for my daughter who is a size 8. They were huge! I didn't care for the look of them either. They were returned.
I love this shoe. I’m glad I ordered a size up or otherwise my toes would hurt from the forward movements while playing.
I am a true 8.5 so ordered these in that size and they were COMICALLY large. I looked like I was applying to clown college. I decided to size down to both an 8 and 7.5 and they were still gigantic. If your name isn't Sasquatch, then these aren't for you.
