I've been buying these shoes for years now because K-Swiss makes the best tennis shoes on the market. They are supremely comfortable and incredibly durable, inside and out, and yet lightweight and breathable. It's just amazing how they achieve all of that in one shoe. What's also important for athletes to appreciate about this shoe is the wide toe box. Not just athletes, but all of us, generation after generation, have been put into shoes that come to a point at the front. This is why most people, not just athletes, experience problems throughout their lives with their arches, with bunions, corns, even back problems, etc. Our toes are not meant to be crammed into a triangle, people. These tennis shoes ensure yours won't. From a reliability perspective, these shoes hold up match after match, month after month. One reason is because K-Swiss has done what nobody else can seem to get right, which is properly reinforce the top of the toe area on the outside of the shoe. Boy did they get this right - the type of material used and the placement of that material are perfectly-executed. Sure, other companies try, but they all fail. All of them. You know the names - Nike, Adidas, etc...they are all crap shoes, designed with only one goal: to elicit a brand image in the mind of the consumer. The truth is their tennis shoes actually fall apart within a matter of weeks. Bottom line: if you play tennis, and want a shoe that is comfortable, functional, durable, and keeps your feet and toes healthy and breathing, look no further. Thank you, K-Swiss.
My third pair. Super comfortable and no need to break in - the feel great right out of the box. These sneakers have fantastic traction on the court thanks to soft grippy rubber soles. The only downside is that because the material is softer the soles seem to wear out a little faster than other sneakers I've owned. But that's a fair tradeoff for the excellent court traction. All in all it's a great sneaker for tennis and workouts in the gym. And a pretty good value for the money.
These shoes fit my feet like a glove. No break-in necessary. They're lightweight, flexible where they need to be, "breathable" (your feet don't get hot on those summer days), they look great, they grip the court just right and, again, they're extremely comfortable. The only thing that keeps this from being a five star review is that this is the FIFTH pair of these I've bought in the last six years. If you play a lot, or happen to drag your toe on the serve as I do, the soles on these will wear out in six to nine months and you'll be left with perfectly great-looking shoes that you can't use because there's a hole in them all the way to your socks!Unfortunately, though, I've tried many other shoes, including other models of K-Swiss, that purport to have longer-lasting outsoles, but I never wear them long enough to find out. These other shoes very uncomfortable in some way: too tight, to narrow, grip the court too much, or get your feet extremely hot (either by heating up through friction with the court, like playing on two tin pans, or by trapping hot air in the upper part and baking your feet!).It was only after having to forfeit a match because the K-Swiss Knitcourts or branded shoes from Prince or Head (I will NEVER by shoes branded by racquet makers again!) made my feet hurt so bad that I finally decided to get another pair of my favorite shoes. It's worth the money to feel comfortable for six months rather than to suffer with "long-lasting" alternatives.
Great shoe for tennis. Fit well and grips the court.
I’m a 10 1/2 usually but ordered a 10 and I can’t say enough about these court shoes. I have a wide foot and the toe box on these is perfect. My custom inserts fit perfectly. The insole is not glued down which I was afraid would be at first ordering online without knowing. So removal was way easier than expected of the insole that comes with the sneaker. My feet don’t slide and I feel grounded when moving laterially in pickleball at the non-volley zone. The inside of the heal almost feels like grip tape which I’ve never experienced it before but your socks will not move. I broke them in this weekend in a tournament and after 23 games in 3 events I can honestly say, I have zero blisters or red feet. So I highly recommend this style and I’ve had a great experience using Midwest Sports.
My husband loves his new shoes. They are comfortable and fit true to size.
I usually wear a 2E, but with this shoe the regular width is plenty wide. It's a comfortable shoe with plenty of grip on the court. Looks pretty good, though there is a lot of white mesh fabric that absorbs everything and is hard to clean. I think all new tennis shoes are coming out like this now. Rubber is wearing as expected (pretty quickly). It's a trade-off I expect with a shoe that really grips the court (grip=friction=wear).
I ordered the all white K-Swiss Men's Hypercourt Express and received the white/navy/silver version. I had no time to return and wait for the correct version. The shoe itself is great just disappointed that I did not receive what I expected.
