While earlier versions were originally designed and engineered for triathletes, the new ECCO BIOM 2.0 offers the same, reliable technology, but boasts an inarguably updated, cool look and feel. The distinctive, asymmetric midsole gives complete support for both your heel and mid-foot, while maintaining full flexibility. This version has been updated with a breathable, sock-like construction and wider lacing, so these ultra-sleek sneakers will likely be on your feet for seasons to come.

ECCO, a Danish footwear brand founded in 1963 by Karl Toosbuy, began with a simple yet revolutionary idea: creating comfortable shoes that mimicked the barefoot walking experience. Toosbuy believed that shoes shouldn't restrict the natural movement of the foot, and ECCO's commitment to ergonomic design has been at the heart of the brand ever since.
ECCO prioritizes both comfort and style. They utilize innovative technologies and premium materials to create shoes that are anatomically shaped, lightweight, and flexible. ECCO also boasts a keen eye for design, offering a range of styles that are both functional and fashion-forward.
A bit thin on the top but overall very nice & well built shoes.
Tried these on at an Ecco store (the all black with purple gore-tex lettering), and was very comfortable in the 7-7.5 size. I normally wear 8-8.5 in Ecco, but was recommended to size down and agreed it felt more comfy. Ordered these due to lower price, but they did not fit the same as those I tried on in store. On the right shoe, there was a spot where the very front of the laces meets the side of the shoe that was extremely uncomfortable as soon as I slipped the shoes on, and caused such pain I felt it after I took them off after only a couple minutes. Not sure if that was maybe a manufacturer defect in this specific pair, but returned and ended up going with the Biom 2.1 shoes in my normal size. These look great and were really comfortable when I tried the other style on, but I'm just so unsure about sizing and went with a different shoe in the end.
These shoes were extremely difficult if you have foot problems. I even had trouble using a shoe horn. I like the look of them but it was just to much for me trying to get them on.
Did not like this product. The tongue is sewed to the shoe, making it Impossible to get on. Would like to return it, as we subsequently ordered different shoe.
Also have to use a shoe horn to put on because the tongue is one of those all in one with the shoe and not separate. I've walked 2-4 miles and they're comfortable but with minimal arch support I don't know how comfortable a long walk would be for my high arches.
Very cute but got a huge blister on the heel after barely walking in them for 10 minutes. One shoe felt worn and very loose, the other one, the right one, was tight and felt new and that's the one that gave me a huge blister.
I just love the color and style.
