I got these for playing pickleball indoors. My other shoes "grab" too much, making it possible to fall. These have good traction but I am not as apt to fall. The arch is fairly high but not sky-high. I actually could use a higher one, I have very high arches but this is enough so my feet don't hurt.The fit is as expected. They're a little wider than most shoes I think (I'm not sure because all I wear is sandals). I've worn ASICs for about ten years and they continue to be dependable.Lastly - they're pretty! I'm trying to preserve them by only using them on the court and nowhere else.
My daughter is enjoying these so much for her volleyball club group. She was using basic sneakers before, but has made the comment that the grip is so much better with her new volleyball shoes. She said hey are extremely comfortable and the size was exact to what she is wearing in other shoes. I was hesitant with purchasing because the price was so cheap in comparison to other volleyball shoes, but am pleasantly pleased with the quality of them.
This is a great volleyball sneaker. It fits true to size, and the color is quite bright. It is comfortable to wear, and the sneaker wears well too in that it still looks as new at the end of the season as it did at the start of the season. It has a good sole and a good cushion on the inside. It should last for more than one volleyball season. As you can see in the attached picture, the light blue really stands out on the volleyball court. I would highly recommend this product.
I bought these sneakers for indoor pickle ball. My feet are pretty picky with sneakers, having had Achilles tendinitis in both ankles. These sneakers didn’t bother my Achilles or my feet at all, but the soles felt stiff and hard. Once I put a pair of Dr. Scholl’s active series insoles (from the drug store) in the Asics, they felt fantastic. So comfortable from the get-go with no break in period. I noticed several other pickle ball players with the same sneakers, and another person had the same experience with changing out the insoles. I’m very happy with the purchase, as these shoes are a great price for sneakers that look good, keep me from slipping on the gym floor, and are comfortable enough to wear all day. I recommend them.
I've bought ASICS trail running shoes and found them to be comfortable and long lasting. For this purchase, I was looking for shoes that I could wear in the weights area of a fitness center with very low pile carpet on the floor - my running shoe tread kept catching on the pile. These shoes are perfect for that area as well as for the cardio room's wood floor. The shoes are comfortable, have good support, and the tread helps me feel secure on the wood cardio floor without feeling too grabby on the carpeted area. Very happy with this purchase.
I have a fairly narrow foot so that is why I stated it was more narrow than normal but it was perfect for me. I usually wear a 9.5 but the 9 worked great for me. The inner sole was hard but i always use my own orthotic inner sole which is softer and more supportive and since the one that came in show was on the thicker side, mine fit perfectly when I removed the factory one (sometimes I have to get a half size larger to accomodate my orthotic). For the price (and even if it was higher), I recommend these shoes! Great for indoor tennis as well as pickel ball!
I originally tried these shoes on at an ASICs store but they wanted $160 for them. A quick Amazon search and found them for much cheaper. I really love the fit of the shoes. I tend to wear a 7 1/2 to 8 and eight fits me perfectly. I love how much support it gives my feet. I can wear these every day.
I wear a 6.5 shoe and whenever I buy these shoes they fit perfectly.It is the only court shoe I wear. I play a lot; they wear well.
