I love Bernie Mev shoes. They hug my feet like gloves. I have three pair and every pair is super comfortable. This style is looks like lace-ups but they are really step ins. I have a friend who has hammer toes and she swears by Bernie Mev shoes because their woven design accommodates her feet like socks.
Love the shoes. Ended up using the insert for a better fit. Toe box dimpled and little loose until I broke in shoe and wore a few times. I wear a true 9- my size with Bernie is 41-could probably wear a 40. Very comfortable and light. So much easier to slip on vs tennis shoes. But cannot wear all day on concrete or tile surfaces. My foot and arch ache with long term wear. I ordered the Black/Gold- it goes with everything.
Bernie Mev's shoes are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I have had a pair of their Mary Janes for several years and have worn them to death and they are still comfortable. I throw them in the wash on delicate every now and then and put them out in the sun to dry and they have held up well. Of course, I have a new extra pair on hand because if you really like a shoe you'd better buy two pairs because before you know it, the shoe has disappeared. Another very comfortable shoe is Bzees. I also have a few pairs of these. Great for the feet!
I wanted to love this very cute shoe. But the weaving digs into my toe. I have another Bernie Mev shoe of a very similar style and the same size that fits me. My foot is wide.I tried to return it but unfortunately, I missed the return window. I requested nicely but No exceptions were allowed. Since Zappos and Amazon seem to have partially merged, I assumed wrongly about the return window. Check carefully the return policy from the seller.
They are cute and comfortable. I wish they were a little deeper, though - because there's very little space for your foot. They also have less traction than any other shoes I own - probably won't be great if the ground gets damp etc.
When in doubt, order up. I wear between an 8 and an 8.5 in Nike and Ryka sneakers, so I figured I'd be o.k. ordering the 39M (the size chart said 39M for size 8 and 40M for size 9-9.5, so I opted for 39M). The 39M were a little too short, so I exchanged for a 40M and they fit fine. The shoes have a flexible sole, and the top material is fabric, so they are very comfortable on your feet. However, they have no arch support whatsoever. If you're used to wearing sneakers like me, you're gonna have a problem. Since these are advertised as sneakers, you would think they would build in arch support. I am going to buy some inserts or something to try to fix this, but I still want to keep them because they do look good.
Love the shoe - lightweight; for me, a good shoe to wear on overseas flights. Stretch allows for swelling. I needed 1/2 size larger than my regular shoe size.
You sent me two pairs, I would like to return one pair but there was no return label in the bag. I think you sent me two pairs because I needed to put in a new credit card number but it looked as though I also had to reorder. I hoped a friend would take the other pair , but they are too small.I still have the bag it arrived in but as I say no return label any where. HELP!
