New Balance Men's 928 V2 Walking Shoe, Black, 9.5 6E US

Prior to this I bought White/Blue M940V2 2E and had no issues, good summer shoe. The MT910V3 in 2E is too tight, I also don't use them for running. After about 6 hours my feet start to hurt. Also, I couldn't Get Lock Laces to go thru the eyelets, but I had another brand that are 3mm wide which I had trouble getting thru, had to tie dental floss to them an pull thru.I also bought a pair of Black/Grey MT910V3 4E, the fit is more snug than prior New Balance shoes but no issues, Lock Laces work fine. I just bought Black MW928V2 2E and they fit very comfortably and Lock Laces work just fine.Not sure why New Balance is going with to snug a fit in the width of their Running shoes for American feet?

Excellent pair of shoes, and it is even better if you use custom insoles, this is the shoe you want. It has extra tall backs to account for the thickness of insoles.Fitting is what is expected, slightly towards between "expected and a bit larger" but we don't like tight shoes right ?I will order another pair pretty soon as I like these a lot.One drawback though with all leather shoes, is poor ventilation, do during hot days, you feel your feet too warm.Do you play tennis ? On clay courts ? Then this shoe is for you as the sole is totally flat. It does equally well on cement courts.

On Podiatrist recommendation, I tried this shoe in brown a few years back. I now have three pairs. The current grey one demonstrates the steadily lowered quality of the New Balance line. It's not at all the same shoe as they made a few years ago.Do believe warnings about these fitting small. Do not believe the posting that they're about half a size small. These are a full size or more small, both for length and width. I normally wear a generous 13.5 (which nobody in the world makes), and usually get by okay with a 14 fitting slightly large, as my other two pairs (brown and white). Acting on the warning, I ordered a 15 in the grey, and found it's not at all too large. In fact, this 15D is noticeably narrower than the brown 14D. You have been warned.You are also warned that the overall quality is substantially lower than the earlier production. At least I got these for around half the price the NB stores were asking for this shoe three years ago. Given the lowered quality, it's still a fair bargain, but not a steal.It's a good shoe. It fits very small. It's not very expensive. It's not the old 928.

Looks like the v2 is pretty much back where the original 928 was (after a v1 rebellion). I don't like my toes to be squeezed and my old 928s were perfect for me---but as with all things you like, sooner or later they are history. Since I could no longer purchase the 928s, I bought a 2E width in the 928v2 and it fit just like the 2E size of my original 928s--- may require a little wearing, but that is to be expected I think. New shoes are a little stiffer until you walk in them for a while. As usual, this shoe is very well-made---solid and comfortable. Plenty of support and padding for long walks. I am again a happy customer!BTW, NB shoes are the only ones that I know of that are assembled in the USA!

I love these.. One cannot properly convey the fear that New Balance will discontinue this wonderful fitting shoe for my Flintstone feet. I had the previous version and got over 2 years out of them before the sole started seperating from the toe of the sneaker. To put this into perspective normally with a size13 4E, my feet roll over the sole and blow the sides out while grinding the soles off in six months. The insoles are pretty decent but I still need orthotic insoles due to my ridiculous instep this is no fault of the company. Actually my wife stole the insoles trimmed them down an uses them in her shoes to make them more comfortable.The only possible thing that could make this shoe better is if it were offered in a safety toe version so i could wear it at work rather than ruining a pair of Redwings every other year. Please New Balance? Having this exact shoe with a safety toe would be better than X-mas and every other holiday rolled into one and I would buy at least 2 pairs outright.

Due to all the negative reviews on the New Balance Men's Mw928v2 Walking Shoes, I bought another pair of New Balance Men's MW928 Walking Shoes, in May of 2016.When these started to get worn out, I bought yet another pair of New Balance Men's MW928 Walking Shoes, this past November, due to the fact that I currently have a job where I am on my feet constantly and walk an average of three miles per day. However this pair of New Balance MW928’s took over a month to break in and then some. As my old 928’s approached the year old mark, I figured it’s time to finally see if I could really get used to the 928’s I bought last November. I wore them for one entire day and the next morning I had a feeling like I had a heel spur on my right foot. I immediately put my older pair of 928’s back on, and ordered the New Balance Men's Mw928v2. As I slipped into these for the first time I felt like I was walking on air (or as they say in New York City driving a new Cadillac) the feeling in the heel area was so comfortable I immediately took these out for a test walk. To my surprise they felt amazing compared to the older model 928’s. Great arch support as well. My problems with the old 928’s were also that they were too wide (even though I went down a notch) about 75% of the interviews I read on Amazon.com are about how the new Mw928v2’s are too narrow. For me they fit like the old 926-927-928’s used too, but actually feel like a brand new version of a New Balance shoe that I have been looking for going on a few years now. I highly recommend the New Balance Men's Mw928v2 Walking Shoes, and I was not paid to say I do.
