We have tried numerous model shoes for my 93 year old mother. She suffers from severe Edema in the legs, which causes the instep of her foot to swell-up. The only shoe she has been to wear for years is a large men's slipper. The Mary Jane style shoe has a large opening at the instep w/ a cross-over strap. Most extra-wide Mary Jane shoes have a short strap, which cannot make it across her instep. This shoe has a longer strap and works great. The upper is a satin-like soft spongy material. She loves this shoe, especially since it's the first shoe she can wear comfortably. I highly recommend anyone with Edema try this shoe. I believe it has a free return for Amazon Prime customers. These shoes are comfortable and have plenty of cushion on the sole. I typically wear a 10 XX Wide but these shoes are roomy so I purchased a 9.5 XX Wide and they fit perfectly. Buy a half size down. I will review the quality later as I just wore them today.
I was born with short wide feet, had to special order shoes all through grade school. Struggle with shoes fitting my whole life. Most wide or extra wide width shoes advertised ARE NOT. These give my feet the wide width I need, thank you!
I loved the fit and the style. But with less than a month of 4 day work week the shoes are needing to be replaced. The sole is coming apart. They are ok for casual wear but not what I need. Will keep them for church or other places not for heavy duty.
I have a white foot with a bunion and I have to wear a brace I’ve been looking for a pair of shoes that would hold the brace in place and not lift up in the back I have very narrow heels and a very wide foot do you seem to work the only thing I need to do is a slip a little bit that’s why I gave her the first hour reading and I will get a heel pad to hold it more in place but they look beautiful on my feet and they feel great to I do recommend them
