First of all, I am very picky when it comes to work shoes, but these shoes are amazing. I spent over 10 hours on my feet, and since I have these I haven't felt any discomfort at all. They are super light, very well made, comfortable and yet sturdy. I work in the cruise industry, and a non slip shoe is a must have, and these are really non slip shoes! They can literally stop you in your tracks.I honestly recommend these for anyone who is in a need of a good work shoe. Your feet will be thankful.
I’m on my feet 10 hours a day at work on concrete. This shoe feels great and last 18 months to 2 years. I do replace the insoles about every 6 months being that I’m hard on the shoes. The over all shoe holds up well. They fit my feet well and I continue to buy them again and again, this is my 4th pair.
I work in Loss Prevention for a retailer and my uniform requires an "all black" work shoe. Since my retailer rarely gets shoes of this type in stock I had to sniff around elsewhere. An added difficulty is that I have plantar fasciitis so I needed my Powerstep Pinnacle orthotic to fit inside the shoe which requires that I buy a WIDE shoe.Initially I tried various shoe retailers before giving up because many don't carry WIDE sizes. In the same outlet mall I found a Skecher's where I found this shoe for the very first time. it was available in WIDE, was comfortable and had the all black look I needed. The only con was that in a WIDE style, it does have a bit of a "grandpa" orthotic shoe look to it IMHO. The memory foam surely helps but I can't feel that impact since I use an inserted orthotic in my shoes.I bought two pairs of these and used them on my Loss Prevention job 5 days a week for 7-8 hours per day alternating the two pair to give each a chance to air out. They lasted about 8 months to 8.5 months and then I could tell the cushioning was gonzo. You could even see the sole was deteriorating but the rest of the shoe looked perfectly fine. To clarify, the cushioning was seriously gonzo to the point where my feet hurt from standing on concrete floors with thin carpet covering them.As a result, I found these for sale on Amazon and ordered them immediately to replace my worn out ones. I also bought a pair of Skechers "Men's Work Relaxed Fit: Telfin - Sanphet SR" shoes which I will also review here on Amazon where I bought them. For the record, my job involves standing in one place for long periods of time or walking the floor seeking out shoplifters. On occasion these shoes hit the pavement outside but that is less common in the current era of retail. I have run in them and they aren't great for that unless you're 18 years old. They feel a bit stiff and are not cushioned enough to do any running for anything more than quick and short runs. But then they aren't running shoes so what do we expect? All in all, they're a pretty good work shoe and go well with a security type uniform. If you pay well below the list price by the Skecher's manufacturer I think you're getting good value.
Husband works at a mechanic shop and needs to wear a black shoe that won't slip on oil or any other fluid that may end up on the floor. He says these are the most comfortable work shoe he has tried and works great with his wide foot and gives him the support he needs so his heels don't hurt at the end of the day. Says they were a little slick the first days he wore them but that it got better as the week went on. we are a few months in and he says they are still comfortable and look good which is something because we have bought $120+ work shoes and they don't last long or feel as comfortable. Will buy again.
I have had these shoes before and liked them so well that I bought another pair when the first ones wore out.
These shoes are perfect for work. The slip resistant soles have saved me from near slipping, many of times. The memory foam in the inside keeps me from having foot fatigue or soreness after a long shift. Absolutely, purchase these shoes for work!
I've worn 2 pairs of these over the last 4 years. The fit is perfect, the shoes are super cool and comfortable. The non-slip aspect is great too. They don't slip.My only issues:-after a while, the treads on the bottom begin to come loose along the edges. The glue isn't holding. I wear them for work and they have a tough duty cycle. Constantly moving, bending, stretching, summer through winter, inside and outside.-while the memory foam is comfortable for standing, the arch support isn't great for constantly walking. I installed some Dr. Scholls arch supports and the shoe comfort went back to 100%. I am over 50, so my arches probably need more TLC than others.Overall, a good deal for a $50 pair of shoes. Since I feel like the treads are wearing off faster than the rest of the shoe is wearing out, I've decided to try a different style of Skechers this time....with a different style tread.
Don't give reviews often, but here goes. I started having a very painful right hip problem 3years ago. In my work I do a lot of walking. My right hip started to give me a lot of problems. So I went and bought the best work boot you can buy, using technology and the whole world, thinking this will take care of my problem. Took care of it all right, it got a lot worse. Started to think I was gonna need a hip replacement. Out of desperation, and my woman telling me to try Skechers, and ordered a pair of these and another style of Skechers. As sure as the sky is blue, my right hip pain went away in 2days, and felt relief after one day. Convinced me so much, I bought 2more pairs of these just in case they stop making them.. Believe me I suffered many days with this hip problem, it's like a miracle, feel so much better it's awesome. So I highly recommend trying them, what do you have to lose, it's a quarter of the price I use to pay for the so called best work shoe.
