The fit is good, the velcro allows excellent tightening, but the fabric tops and sides do not keep foot in place very well, say as compared to similar leather top shoes I have.Even the sports medicine people I see are not fond of the brand for same reasons.They work fine for just "around the house" and cushion nicely. Not very good for walks or fully active day running errands.

Bought for my autistic son..got 9-extra wide. It was too wide. Returned (which was very simple, took to Whole Foods/Amazon counter, in and out about 3 mins.) Thank you for simple returns. So reordered size 9. Fit soo much better. MY concern is the velcro..the velcro strips are kinda short. As the shoe wears, they may not line up to secure the strap. I was disappointed. Have gotten less expensive velcro shoes and they have the velcro practically along the whole strap. I took to a shoe shop to see if they can add more velcro . They can do that..expensive..$40. But I really like the shoe, so I had that done. Just took them in, havent gotten back yet. Hope its good!
