I have plantar fasciitis and arthritis in my feet. These shoes make me feel like I could walk miles! Very comfortable and lightweight. I have a wide foot and my regular size for Vionics fit perfectly. Vionics never let me down. The ones with the thicker sole work best for me.
All of my walking shoes for the past three years are Vionics. They are the shoes that give me the best comfort and support for my feet, knees and hips!
If these were just a tad roomier, they would be 5 stars. I like the pull on style but they are TIGHT on my feet even with the thinnest socks I can find. Size is perfect if I can leave off socks but that doesn't work either. Still they are cute and mostly comfy and i wear them quite a bit.
I needed slip on shoes with good arch support. Everyone's different but these shoes are great for me! I did not mess with the laces at all and had to use a shoe horn to put the on the first two times. But now they slip on quite easily. To me there's a difference between Slip On and Step In. These are not, for me, Step Ins due to the small opening for inserting your foot and the lack of a stiff backing on the back of the shoe opening. But these are WONDERFUL shoes. Extremely comfortable and so far they seem to be helping my arthritic knees too!! I just ordered another pair. If you're new to buying shoes with arch support as I was you may have to try a couple times to get the right size. The inserts do make the shoe fit a bit differently. I found I absolutely had to have a Wide and I may have to go up a half size for some styles.
August 2024 Purchased the Vionic Women's Zeliya Slip-on Shoe and am amazed at the comfort and ease of this slip-on shoe. Gives me padding where needed - arch and toe area (roomy). This is "the most comfortable" shoe I've ever worn!!...even after several foot surgeries. Runs true to size.
I usually love Vionics shoes and have always been happy with the ones I bought. These ones had only one non-broken picture in the listing and that did not show that the shoes have laces. Somehow they were stuffed inside the shoe for the picture. Below the laces, the shoe looks like a slip on but you actually need to tie the laces to make the shoe fit snug enough. The shoe itself is comfy, the sole a bit on the hard side but hopefully that will soften with ware.
I have many, many pairs of Vionic Shoes; in fact, they're the only brand that I purchase. This pair was just a little short or narrow. My big toe was too close to the end of the shoe and was rubbing. I will try a different style because I love Vionic!
First, this shoe is comfortable and supportive. I ordered a wide and it was a good fit.HOWEVER, the styling is a nightmare. THERE IS NO FREE TONGUE on this shoe. This means that the top of the shoe is continuous over where the tongue should be. Why is this a problem? How do you get your feet into the shoe? The foot opening does not stretch and it's very hard to get your foot into it. I've resorted to smashing the back of the shoe to get my feet into them. Not good. Next, the laces... there are no holes for the laces. I ordered the black shoe with pink zig-zags on the sides. Yes, those zig-zags are free huge loops that the laces go through. Why is this a problem? What happens when the loops break? (as I feel they will soon). You'll need to drill little holes in the top fabric to put the laces through. No!All in all, I am frustrated with these shoes because the fit is good but the styling is a disaster that will get worse over time. I need to return these shoes. Thankfully, the company gives you a 30 day grace period to try them and return if needed.
