I bought a pair of these about 10 years ago and they just started to look worn. Happy to find them again and bought two pair - they are well-made, super comfortable, and easy to put on. The only thing that's different about these newer ones is the insoles start to come out sometimes when you take them off, but it's just a minor problem to stick them back in. They're great for walking, fast to put on, and look nice enough to wear with khakis. Love them and will buy again if these ever wear out!
Jambu does not fail! These are sturdy but light. They have stretch around the top of the shoe. They feel like wearing slippers but you are wearing a shoe that supports your foot, won’t slip on wet surfaces and they look great too.
These are very light weight exercise shoes, think aerobics not hiking. The sides are mesh and there is virtually no lateral support, arch or cushioning. Yet, they are super comfy, dry quickly when wet and accommodate wide feet and bunions, particularly in the Wide width. Because the sides and toe box have a lot of mesh, this same “give” is prone to ripping and cannot be repaired
These basically replaced the J-41 water shoes I had previously owned and loved, and could no longer get. They are the same exact shoe, in quality and comfort. The sizing is just a smidgy larger (I wear a 7) but I just wear a thicker sock with it. Very happy!
My first pair wore out - so thrilled to be able to replace them! I love these for my long city dog walks (easy on/off), my summer hikes (the mesh keeps twigs and stones out and keep my feet cool). Quick drying and lightweight - perfect for my casual canoeing and river excursions. Durable sole and toe protection. Great easy fit. Love love love.
I've been wearing these for many months and they are as good as the day I first put them on.
I seem to have some nerve issues in my feet and have begun to fall, and going barefooted kept me aware of the terrain, etc. Shoes sort of "disconnected" me from the terrain. If you have nerve issues, you understand. If you don't, well, I'm glad you don't. But I would slip a lot so I started shopping for a shoe with great tread. These shoes are great for my needs. First, they're water shoes, yes, but you can wear them anywhere with or without socks. They're incredibly flexible and I feel connected to the terrain under my feet so it feels as close to barefooted as I can be without actually being barefooted. They're obviously casual but since COVID who dresses up much these days? Second, they have a wide toe area, plenty of room for the wider foot, or just the normal width foot. May be too much for a thin foot? Third, and this occurred to me only after I bought them, they're great in the rain, lol. They go in the washer and dryer.I bought three pair. One for yard work, which go in the washer and dryer because - yard work. One gray pair, one solid black that I keep nice and clean. Runs true to size. They provide no arch support, though.
I have several pair of jambu shoes. I love them. But these? I bought two pair. They fit well, except they make my foot roll inward. It's an uncomfortable feeling, like if I walk too long in them I will end up walking on the side of the shoe. Sadly both pair will be returned.
