I bought these for cowboy action shooting. I’m quite pleased with the fit and the quality. The boots have a nice patina and will wear well. I wear an 11.5, and 11.5 was just right with a pair of Marino wool socks. Although not too stiff, they need some breaking in. They’re a bargain compared to other prices out there.

Sometimes boot sizes run differently than shoe sizes. I originally ordered my usual size 11 but my foot was sliding all over the place. They accepted my return no questions asked. It was such a beautiful, well crafted boot, I wanted to give it another try. As it turns out, a 10.5 fits perfectly. The only thing I would change is the calf circumference. It's a bit wide but it was advertised as such so can't fault'em for that.

Although too early to tell, out of the box pretty comfortable. Will require a bit of break in. Top of boot a bit wide(18 inch circumference in size 7). Will fit perfectly if wearer has wider calf as these boots are intended to be worn with pants tucked in. Skinny calf will require some alteration. Per label USA made leather upper and other components man made. Recommend quality boot sock and some mink oil for conditioning and bad weather. I run a therapeutic horseback riding program and I have been looking for a good pair of high shaft, western riding boots that I could also comfortably walk in, and these boots fit my needs perfectly. They are comfortable, rugged and good-looking, and I am planning on purchasing at least one more pair as soon as they become available in my size.

My husband has 2 pairs of these boots. He wears them every day as a thoroughbred (racehorse) rider. They're a tough boot that have held up to his grueling schedule. The tall shaft is great for protecting his legs from saddle rub. Highly recommend these boots.

First off made in USA, secondly cowboy. I'm 6 foot 6 and these look amazing, i usually have a hard time finding any foot wear that looks good.
