I ordered these boots for my husband. I wasn't sure if he would like them or if they would fit. He only wears boots occasionally since some boots are uncomfortable to stand and walk in for long periods of time. I was impressed when I opened these. The Abilene Short Boot is nice looking and well made. I sized up a half size so my husband could put his shoe insert in to make them even more comfortable. They were a perfect fit and he really likes them and says they are not only comfortable to wear but easy to get on and off. Big Hit! I bought them to give him as a Christmas present, however, I didn't know if they would fit so he had a early Christmas present.

I love these boots. I already have the burgundy pair. Comfortable and stylish. That is why I ordered another pair in black. The unfortunate thing is when they arrived. They were worn and scuffed already. Like somebody wore these, not just factory damage. Pretty sure there is gum or some other nasty substance on the bottom.
I would highly recommend these boots . Great fit and sharp as a tac . I have the black pair and will be purchasing Dark cherry pair asap .
If you are looking for a travel boot for easy packing and very tight fit, then buy this boot...of you want a travel boot for easy packing and nice fit, then keep looking.The sizing seems correct, but if you wear a d or e width, get an ee widthLeather on lower is good and good hidden black zipper, but do not like krinkle shank leatherNice heel and sole appears will get good traction on all surfaces, don't really know because I could barely get foot into boot.
Recently purchased my second of these. They're well-made and fit perfectly with the gel inserts that I use.
Very nice boots. Seem to fit real well so far. I wear a 7 D and these seem true to size for me. Leather is soft and made in the USA! I wish all of our everyday products were still made in the USA. Got these for a really good price as well. 👍
These boots are great overall. The leather upper is supple yet supportive. The toe box is roomy. The sole really provides excellent support. The only drawback is the sizing. If you usually wear 12EE or 13M, depending on the manufacturer, you need to get a 13EE. All boot manufacturers have their own proprietary sizing so use the prime wardrobe feature with these and keep the pair that works.
