I own about a dozen pair of boots, everything from Tony Llama to Lucchese to Justin to Ariat and this pair of boots has the worst craftsmanship by far. I've got 6 other pair of Ariat boots and none have these issues, even my cheap beater boots didn't have issues like these do.First off, for $250 you would hope that there is not blue pall point pen cobbler markings all over the shaft where the crown meets. There is glue spots on the vamp from where the sole was attached. The stitching is pretty good but there are a lot of spots where tooling marks left permanent scarring. The left boot fits perfectly but the right is not a true EE (wide) it's more like a D. To confirm it's just not my feet I even measured across the vamp from side to side and it is smaller. (I also own lots of boots and know that 13 EE usually fits perfectly) I would return these if there were any more in-stock but this was the last pair in my size. I understand that there will need to be some break in, but I can't believe how every pair of Ariat boots in the past and the left boot all fit perfectly and the right is tight. I hope my boot stretcher can open up the vamp a bit.I bought these because I thought I could trust Ariat but I guess I'll have to inspect and try before I buy next time.
I always buy Ariat boots. This pair looked great. Left foot fit good, but right foot fit very poorly. It was clearly a defect
