This will be my third pair of Ariat boots and I purchased these off Amazon on sale. I did my research and noticed that a lot of people were complaining about the color. I'm a leather crafter and was able to identify from the pictures the color issue. Some leather dies have a tendency of fading over time and I figured this may be the case. Knowing that the quality of the boot was well worth the $237.00 price and it was $167.00 on Amazon I pulled the trigger and purchased the boots. They arrived and appeared exactly like the other reviews stated, kinda light sand brown. I took the boots to my shop, grabbed some TOKONOLE which is what I use for finishing wallet edges and sealing some tote bags and rubbed the boot down and buffed them. The finishing product looked like the picture on the website. I would post a video but I don't think it will fit so I uploaded some pictures. Trust me they are worth the elbow grease when you finish . I absolutely love these boots now.Note I only did one boot so you can see the difference.
Boots are super comfortable, they are kinda hard on your feet at first but as you wear them they break in and are great. They run kinda small so I would order a half a size bigger than you normally would
My third pair of Ariat’s and these don’t disappoint. Fit and construction is good. Great pair of boots.
I’ve bought from Ariat before and I’m a 9D in all their boots. This pair, however, fit me too tight. I got a blister from wearing them. On top of that, the stitching on the pull tabs was already coming apart. For $250, I expected more. I want my money back
