Designed for sturdiness, western flair, and comfort for the long haul, this Ariat Heritage Stockman Western Boot for Men has it all. They are sharp-looking boots that provide a hard-working performance and rough styling. These boots combine a premium full-grain leather foot and shaft with a striking 6-row stitching pattern for a western flair. The leather lining adds to the overall durability. Featuring a narrower U-toe design, they designed with the Advanced Torque Stability technology, which supports and cushions on each step for all-day comfort. This innovative Ariat technology reduces foot fatigue and promotes good posture so you can work or play wherever you go. The round-toe boot is complete with a gel-cushioned, moisture-wicking footbed with a heel stabilizer to deliver support, rebound, and stability while keeping the feet dry. The durable Duratread rubber compound outsole minimizes tracking of mud and debris and is resistant to wear oil, slips, and barnyard acids.

A few years ago our sister was getting married and we needed wedding boots. My other half decided on his Ariats and I have mine. At first his were just a bit tight which can happen with leather boots. A quick soak and then warm stretch and they fit like a glove. The insert they came with wasn't the most supportive so that was swapped for one designed for hard work. He continued to wear them, oil them and loved them.Fast forward a few years and the soles are still good. Unfortunately he wore them so much that the seams began to split. Nothing else wrong with the boots so of course he continued to wear them even though I told him they needed to graduate to sxxx kicker status. The man would not let go of his boots! He just wore slightly longer pants, haha. Finally I just met him in the middle and ordered a new pair of the exact same boots (plus an insert). I did slightly change the size since the last ones were tight and these fit like a glove. Same number just a different letter which notates the width/fit. Ariat lists sizing on their website and here on Amazon so if your boots don't quite fit look into that. There was no need to have a breaking in period on the new boots. With the added insert for work he said that the new boots fit perfect. He works 10+ hours walking on solid concrete so anyone who has experience with how that can hurt your feet knows good shoes/inserts help! He does have heel pain from before the boots but that only really flairs up when he switches to another shoe.Overall I highly recommend these. Their insert is average for comfort so I can't really knock that. I do recommend though finding an insert that fits your use. The leather in these is high quality and the soles are made to last.
I wanted a good pair of boots to wear at work, I love these so much I'm wearing them all the time now.I'm a pilot and we have a very strict uniform policy at work that allows us to wear boots but they have to have a round toe and black smooth leather. You wouldn't think that pilots do a lot of walking but you'd be surprised, I typically walk 3 to 5 miles a day on average. We have to walk through airport terminals dragging luggage flight kit, changing aircraft sometimes 3 times a day. I often have to walk across the tarmac with everything from oil, hydraulic fluid, fuel, water, slush, snow and mud to aircraft parked off the gate. I wanted a good quality boot that would be very comfortable, have rubber soles for traction and could be worn in the desert in the heat of summer but not freeze me in the north mid winter. These are the boots. It took me about a month to really break them in right, I wouldn't say they were ever painfully uncomfortable even day 1 but after a month they are the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned. I absolutely love them, I regularly get compliments on how good they look.
Excellent boot, however the leather seems thin compared to my Aristotle buckaroo boots.
I like these boots although I had to send them back due to sizing problems. I don't feel I should take away any stars for that, but I could not give 5 stars because I don't know how they feel after wearing for hours due to fact that I had to send them back. I normally wear 10.5. but I have now wound up with a 9.5EE in this boot. It is a wee bit small, but both 10.5D and 10D were too big. These boots look great (although the brown bottom part of the boot is darker than pictured), they seem to give good support. I didn't find anything I didn't like about them the relatively short time I had them on.
These Western-style boots are lightweight and easy to wear. They are suitable for everyday wear as well as for equestrian use. There is also enough clearance between the boot side stirrups for use with British stirrups.(*I have no problem wearing them when practicing British riding.)The design is calm and cool. Highly recommend!
They fit great and look good !
A real boot for those who realize that square toe isn't a cowboy boot, never was, never will be. A boot with an apron at the point where your foot bends, right where your jeans meet the boot, is also what makes a real boot. That's why ariat puts it on their work boot line. Boots are meant to slide into a stirrup. They were originally designed to slide in and out easily, hence the traditional pointed toe. But since we live in a world where no one cares about logic or reason the entire industry has gone to square toe for IG clout and trendiness rather than fit and function. Thank God Ariat still make a couple real boots.
Fits as expected. Color matched and comfortable
