The ARIAT Men's Hybrid Low Boy Western Boot is a fantastic boot. It is very comfortable and looks great. I have not had any issus with this boot.
They make my husband look and feel so handsome. I'd recommend these to anyone looking for cowboy boots.
Fit and look super nice
Another great Ariat product. I was wanting an easier to put on lower pair of boots that do everything. A night out or work these things are great! Leather is fantastic, and the tread on the soles is nice and grippy. Would highly recommend for somebody wanting an all day comfy pair of boots.
When I was younger, I wore western boots regularly. I always enjoyed wearing them. Recently I’ve had back issues which resulted in lumbar fusion surgery. I need to wear shoes with orthopedic cushioning to help with back stress and foot neuropathy. I’ve also lost flexibility and slip on shoes are helpful. I thought my western boot days were over. Then my daughter told me about Ariat boots. She is in the horse business and they all wear Ariat English riding boots. She told me they make great boots with athletic shoe cushioning. Not like the boots I used to own. My last pair was a good brand, Lucchese. But none ever had orthopedic cushioning. So I saw these low cut boots and figured they would be easy to get on. They are easy to slip into with a shoehorn. But I wonder if traditional height boots wouldn’t be just as easy. The pull tab on the back of the low cuts sometimes catches my jeans leg. Because my back doesn’t bend, it’s hard for me to reach down to pull the pants leg over it. Not a big deal, but I think my next pair will be traditional height. Saved the best for last. The footbeds are outstanding. They are as good or better than many of the athletic style walking shoes I normally wear. So any of you out there who have issues like mine, your boot wearing days may not be over after all. My daughter’s clients range from 6 to 60. She says they all love these boots.
Loved these boots from the minute they came out of the box. Great fit & feel. They work in the field (construction) & cleaned up great for days in office. The issue is after 3 months both heal trays came loose from the sole. One boot "clicks" when I walk as the heal slips up & down. The other fully detached to where I have to glue it weekly & added another insole to help keep it down. And that makes the boots too small.Only reason there are 2 stars is because when they were good, they were great. But I don't make enough to buy boots that only last 90 days.
Let's see how they hold with time, but they fit thru to size, I put some leather conditioner to help break in as my feet is wide and every bit helps. But by the second day it's way better than the first. No change of color after applying the leather conditioner. Made in Vietnam. (Yes I know, designed in the USA, inspired in the USA, used mostly in USA and sold to me in the USA). Seems good quality.
I have waited a few months to put these boots through their paces before writing a review. I can confidently say, after several months of use on construction projects, these boots have held up great! They have become more comfortable over time as the leather stretches to the form of my feet. These are not steel-toed but I continue to wear them on construction projects as they are extremely comfortable and have held up great to mud, dirt, rain, concrete, and much more.I can confidently recommend these boots.
