Love them. I’m new to the boot world, but I wear a 9.5 shoe, and ordered an 8.5 of these cause I know boots run big, but there’s a tiny tiny heel slip.I think that’s normal and will go away as they break in, but if you’ve never bought boots, these ariats run a good full size larger than my sneaker size.
The blue is a little bright. Otherwise everything was perfect!
My grandson loves them
I'm happy with the boots in all respects. Made in China (like those iPhone's people love), which I don't like, but are still well made as far as I can tell. More finished in the inside with lining than my Dan Posts of like price. The Ariats do run a little small--or mine did. (Those who say they don't, or worse that they run large must not know the size of their feet.) I have bought three pair of boots all 10.5 wide of late: Georgia work books, Dan Post (pic) and the Ariats. Only the Ariats are narrow and more tight, so it's not simply my impression. The Posts have the most room by far (run a tad big?) and the Ariats the least. Noticeably the least. The leather is pretty stiff (mink oil on the way), more so than the other boots. The brown finish seems to be intended to age quickly and show the creases. Not a problem, just an observation. With someAngelus Leather Lustre Cream they have a little nicer shine, but without being really glossy.Like almost any boot, they feel better the more you wear them. I have tired various inserts as the ones inside are not very cushy. With all the talk about their comfort I did expect more to the insert that what was there. But due to the snugness I can't use anything that has a lot of cushion. My 60 yr old feet hurt at times and comfort is a must. Would I buy again? Yes. They look great and continue to feel better the more I wear them. I wish they were a little wider, but going to an 11 would likely make them ill fitting in other places.
