The Standard of the West Since 1879 The story of Justin Boots began in 1879, when H.J. Justin moved to Spanish Fort, Texas to become a boot repairman. He was a quick study, with an eye and talent for boot making. H.J. soon began his own boot company, Justin Boots, which he operated out of his home to serve cowboys passing though town. H.J. saw the potential for his business, so when a railroad was built ten years later in Nocona, Texas, he moved his family there to capitalize on a bigger market. In 1908, Justin Boots became a true family company when his sons, Earl and Avis, came to work for their father. Their combined efforts pushed the company forward, and just two years later, Justin Boots had doubled its production and was being sold in 26 states as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Seven years after their father´s death in 1918, his sons moved the company headquarters to Fort Worth where it still operates today. Every pair of Justin Boots is a salute to the spirit of independence, hard work and authenticity of the cowboys who have worn them since 1879. After more than 130 years of Western boot making, Justin Boots is still true to its roots. When you purchase a pair of Justin Boots you will own the most authentic and stylish Western footwear available. And with Justin´s patented J-Flex.Comfort System you will be wearing the most comfortable boots ever made. This is why Justin Boots has been crowned the Standard Of The West Since 1879.

Boots fit great! My advice is to try the boot on at the store before you buy it online. I tried the Justin brand boots at the store and turns out I am a different size than I regularly buy. Really paid off in the end. I got the right size online on the first try. The boots are of great quality! The leather is nice and thick but quite flexible. As of now, I am on my second set of soles and the leather still looks great! I think I can get probably 4 more years out of them resoling and keeping them well conditioned. And I wear these about three times a week. Make sure to clean with Bick 4 every once in a while and your boots will last a very long time like mine have.
First got the boots and tried them on and only concern was the left one felt a lil bigger. Not a full or half size bigger but just a touch larger then the right boot did. Once I wore them out and around that concern went away because I barely noticed. I can tell u that the boots fit on the larger side so if ur a sz 9 shoe or work boot I would go with a sz 8.5. Great boots though love the look love the style can't wait to buy another pair!
At first, I was a bit worried about how it would be after ordering. As soon as it arrived, all my concerns with the boots were gone. It's true to the picture, and fits well. The Leather, with first initial look, is a bit more polished then what the picture leads, but once worn some and broken in, that should be no problem.1. Fits well2. Looks great3. 100% Leather4. Comfortable5. No sign of damage through shippingAfter about 3 weeks of wear, I'll come back with an update to this review.Edit: The boots are great. Plain and simple, no wear/tear after breaking them in. Just overall a great quality pair of boots.Edit #2: Wanted to do a follow up, Five years later and I still own the boots. I'm now only getting them resoled for a second time. They've been my best pair and have gotten a lot of compliments, so rest assured that what you're buying will satisfy.
Okay, so the title is a little dramatic, but I really like these boots. Keep in mind that you might have to buy them a half a size under whatever size boot you usually wear (or at least, I did since they're squaretoe). My suggestion is to try them on at your local store to find your size and then just buy them on here. I did that and saved $70. Now back to the actual boots...they look awesome and fit really well. The double stitching also looks cool. However, the stitching is white and will eventually get dirty in time if that's the type of thing that bothers you. I say it adds character! Anyway, can't go wrong with these bad boys.
Very happy with these boots and even happier with the price ($95.00...ever since then the lowest I've seen is just under $200.00). Some have mentioned they seem to run wide. Seemed that way to me too at first, but I soon realized (1) All the rest of my boots that I have wore for the last 15 years are all now a size to small and are pointed, so they naturally felt tight, and (2) I wore these with a thin boot sock. After switching to a nice padded boot sock, they snug up fine. Great boot and a great shipper and super price. I'll be in the market for another if any of them once again dip below $100 in a size 15.
Felt a bit tight in the beginning, but quickly loosened up and now they're quite comfortable. The leather's a bit thin (perhaps as a result of the distressing process)--compared to let's say a Red Wing boot--but then again I would not consider this a work-boot, so we'll have to see how they hold up. But they're definitely cool looking, and they're made in the USA.
Great boot, I have very sensitive feet and usually change shoes a couple times a day. These were very comfy after a few hours of break in. I walked a few miles in them after one day and have to say they were great. I thought they fit a little sloppy at first but after 5 hours or so they molded well to my foot. Heel is very comfortable, no different than a similar style work boot with rubber sole. I'll buy another pair down the road, I have 6 or 7 pairs of boots and these are the most comfortable ones. No regrets here!
I'm not a cowboy, but I really wish i had purchased these boot many years ago. I love the way the feel and look. I constantly get compliments from people about how cool they look. The feel just like slippers and the worn texture makes me feel free to do anything without feel of scuffing or scratching these fine boots.I will say that I normally wear a size 10 or 10.5 in most shoes. I ordered the size 10 and they did fit with fairly thick socks for the first few weeks. After they stretched out some they are a bit loose. It's not a major problem but they do sometimes allow my foot to slide up and then I need to tap my heel to reseat the boot. I am planning on soaking the boots and wearing them wet for a day to allow them to tighten up. I hope this corrects the issue.
