In the Texas desert I want to be able to go for a walk in the morning and not worry about what I can’t see in the vegetation a step ahead. 911 can’t help me much an hour from a paved road. I tried another brand which were too uncomfortable to wear all day. These fit great and feel great. My title pretty much said it all.
I like the boots, in fact it is my third pair. The high tops is a must have for me. The rubber sole is very comfortable. The problem is I can’t get them to last longer that 6 months. For $240!, I would expect a better quality product. Every pair I have had starts tearing at the bottom of the shaft where the heel slips down into the sole, and eventually starts bunching up when you try to remove the boot to the point you can’t get your foot out. I’ve tried a larger size hoping to eliminate this issue but now the boot is just too big to wear comfortably. A better reinforcement and stronger stitch could resolve the issue and make a great boot. I hope the company will stand behind this product because $500 a year is just to much to ask!
