Super thick 6 ounce oil tanned leather uppers are contoured to fit your leg precisely for incredible support and comfort. Snut-Fit lacing system with stud hooks and Power D-Ring lace anchors for the ultimate in ankle support. Removable 6 mm thick three part liner quilted from a wicking durable synthetic, 400 gram Thinsulate Ultra Insulation, and finally 3 mm of wool felt to insulate even when damp. Hand-made rubber outsoles are vulcanized for durability and feature steel shanks with double thick midsoles. Custom Kenetrek K-Talon Cowboy Outsole design has stirrup rails surrounding the lugs, traction teeth at the toe and heel and a deep and open tread design for serious grip and traction. You work really, really hard, and your boots should too. So we found a boot that can keep up with you. This rugged boot features a tall leather shaft with traditional laces so you can customize your fit. A rubber sole will keep you dry, while a special insulated liner will keep your feet beyond warm. Finally, I found a boot that will keep my toes warm! The quality is just great, the leather pretty soft, the sole well thougth through and the lacing doesn't take too much time. I'm usually wearing a women's size 10-10.5 (European 40.5-41) and ordered these boots in a men's size 9. They fit perfectly with one thinner and one really thick sock (which is what I wanted). I friend of mine tried them on yesterday (he usually wears a men's size 9). For him they wear maybe a tiny little bit small and he was just wearing regular sport socks. What you also should know is that there are pull straps on the liner that are actually very helpful to get in the boot. However, they are attached to the boot with a durable but scratching nylon yarn. It's no problem with either knee-high socks or long johns as I assume one will anyway wear when wearing these boots.
From the reviews I read about them they said to order the next size up so I did and they fit good. They are warm and comfy and really good traction on the ice.
Bought these for my husband for Christmas and he loves them. Great boot for the extreme cold and snow. Foot fits snug enough he can walk well without foot sliding around. Tall enough snow doesn't get in them. Has a great heel for being in the saddle. He did find them at a local farm store at a discount which frustrated me, but oh well he got what he wanted from Santa.
Hard to find warm boots that will fit in a stirrup. These work great.
We had to return the size 11 because they were to small. The boots must run small. It took a size 12 to fit comfortably. And that cost us an additional $50.00 because the sale was over by the time that we received and returned the size 11. Please respond if there can be a price match. Thank you.

Been looking at these boots for a year now and finally bought them so far very satisfied needed boots that could withstand stepping on a shovel and working in a range of conditions. These seem durable. They have Stiff enough bottoms that I don't feel like I'm going to poke holes through them like I have other brands
Great product, just as you would expect from Kenetrek. Well made, fit was good, shipping was prompt. Eager to put them to the test. Not sure how the sole will be, I've always preferred the "Air Bob" type sole. I would recommend this boot if you're in really cold weather and horseback. I would give 5 stars if the boots had the air bob sole.
