The only thing you will need to do is get some good inserts to cushion the inside better.
Safety and comfort - don't have to fight with floppy old soft leather to get them on.
Fits good
Fit good but a little tight getting into them
My son was only allowed to wear these to school and had to take them off everyday for PE, got them at the end of August and they were busted open on the side where the leather connects to the sole before the end of January. I'll never buy Rocky again. I'll stick with Red wing, Justin or ariat.
Because of the “fallen firefighter family donation combined with the look of the boot and the description of comfort, I purchased these boots as a Christmas gift for my son in 10.5 wide. He wears 10.5 wide. The boots I received were extremely large. Out of curiosity I inserted a 11.5 insert and still had lots of extra room. This boot (that I received) is NOT true to size. It’s not even the actual listed size. He liked the boot but would need a smaller size. I contacted Amazon and the seller (Lehigh Outfitters) with a request for exchange. Amazon was extremely helpful in assisting me fully however, Lehigh Outfitters was NOT ! I’m still stuck with the extra large (my guess is size 12 wide) men’s boots. I wish I’d have known this same boot was available and also “sold by” Amazon as I’m sure this problem would have been resolved the same day. I do recommend the boot , if nothing else, for what it stands for. It looks nice, the insoles may not live up to the description but they aren’t bad either. I do not, on the other hand, recommend purchasing anything from this particular seller. Purchase them from Amazon or someone you trust. My 1 star review reflects the seller not the boot.
