ALDO Women's Phara Ankle Boot, Black, 6.5

These ankle boots are fantastic. They have a sock-like upper to them which is nice and stretchy for putting on or taking off, yet remains snug around my ankle while wearing them. The heel is very thin, but widens at the base a little, adding an interesting silhouette. The toes are pointy but there is the give in the material. I typically take a size 7.5 but I sized up to an 8 so that I had the option of wearing thicker socks and using a metatarsal pad for the ball of my foot. I am extremely comfortable wearing them with the extra half size, but it probably wasn't necessary. The thing that shocked me the most is that these boots are really comfortable to wear all day and walk about in. Love them.

if there is a perfect ankle boot, these would be it.The fit was perfect, the height of the heel is just right, and the material holds snugly, but stretches to accommodate long days and lots of standing.The quality is exactly what I've come to expect from Aldo over the years. It is a very premium feeling shoe with a unique stretchy, but very durable fabric shell that hugs your feet in all the right places to keep them from slipping around.That stretch also hugs your ankles all the way up, so they slide nicely underneath dress pants or even tapered jeans. It's nice that you can have that kind of flexibility around the ankles without having to have wide, saggy openings like so many ankle boots do.The heel is just right for this type of shoe. I wouldn't go any higher for comfort reasons, but it's hard to beat the style and look of these sleek 3 inch heels with the right outfit.All in all, they are just gorgeous. Truly my favorite pair of dress boots I've ever purchased.Well done, Aldo!

These have that look you see in movies of the girl with the sleek black boots and her long overcoat during winter waiting for her male lead to show up. As for wearing them, these were actually really soft around the the ankle as the material was like a sock type: very soft and stretchy fabric. They were more comfortable than I expected and seemed to fit true to size. My ankles are a little thin so I am worried about the top wrinkling a little.

Name brand items are a little harder to come by on Amazon. Struck gold with these. They fit well, look stylish and are made of a fabric material up top making for a comfortable fit. Love them.

I have been a big fan of Aldo for years given all of the good quality shoes that I've owned of theirs, so I was really excited to come across these new Phara boots recently when looking to refresh my professional work wardrobe for the upcoming season!These ankle boots are PERFECT! The boot material is excellent quality and is very durable, and it's stretchy so that the material "gives" a bit when putting them on and taking them off, making it so you can actually purchase your true shoe size (instead of sizing up for fear that you won't be able to get your foot inside of them easily - you do not have to size up in these!). These boots are also VERY comfortable to wear thanks to the stretchy fabric!The bottom of these boots have a rubbery grip and they're not slick and hard like other brands, and the heel is the perfect size for work (3 inches) and is SO cute! I cannot wait to wear these in fall with a pencil skirt or dress - they are the perfect versatile black boot to go with so many different styles and outfits!I definitely recommend giving these boots a try this season - you can never go wrong when purchasing Aldo shoes!

I have muscular legs so I was expecting these to be a bit tight around my ankle. Instead they’re quite loss. There are wrinkles in the boot if I attempt to wear them because of the looseness. I feel like I’m wearing a pair of high heeled rain boots because of the gaping at the top. I’ve wanted a pair of sock booties for a while. These just turned out to be overstretched looking. I didn’t expect this at all especially from a company like Aldo. I still love Aldo shoes but this bootie was a definite miss.

These are some cute shoes!! They are made from a stretchy fabric, which makes them really comfortable. It's like an all in one shoe/sock. They look high, but they still feel really comfortable when walking in them. They fit perfectly, too. I could go dancing all night in these! Definitely a winner in my book.

Boots are comfortable and go easily even though I have a very high arches. They arch support is almost non existent but I wouldn't expect much from high heels. Material is thin, but not see through. It conforms well to the foot. Size runs a bit large, I am usually 8 and got 7.5 and fits well. Heel slightly wobbly, a little unstable but nothing preventing walking. Overall good :).
