I've been so disappointed with other popular and expensive brands that say their boots are waterproof and they end up not even being water resistant. These are actually waterproof so far. Other reviewers suggest to size up for thick socks so I bought 7 when I normally wear a 6. They are comfortable and warm and cute. However after wearing a few times even with thick wool socks I realized my heels lift up some when I walk meaning they are a little too big. Possibly if they had half sizes but they dont. So I don't know if sizing up is necessary at least in my case but I can't afford another pair and I can't return these, so I'm gonna have to make these 7s work for now. But I'm happy to find a boot that lives up to its description.
I wear an 8 1/2 in hiking boots. Eldora 9 fits well, and stretches slightly. I am wearing them in 20-30 degree F, with thin wool "very day" socks. No need for heavy sock. No cold toes. Not quite as supportive as some Baffin boots, but, can be laced well and the footbed is removeable so one can use an orthotic. Tall enough to keep some snow out of the top, and lightweight. Seem to be waterproof, and the bottoms are better than some others for a good grip on slick /icy snow. Size 9 1/2 might have been better, but, a 10 was too large. They did stretch though and now I do not notice this issue. For comparison, I wear a 10 in Baffin Chloe snow boots with the liner, as I need to put an orthotic inside.
Following suggestions in multiple reviews, I bought a 1/2 size larger than my usual size. The toe box was still incredibly tight (both width and length), even with thin socks. I returned the item. That said, delivery, including the return, was very prompt.
