This is my 6th pair of DR Martens boots. I love the side and front zippers they are both cute and functional. There 8s a lacing up both sides and you can toe it at the top too. As with any pair of Doc's you have to break them in, but the size and fit is always true. I got these in a 5 which all of my Dic's are and they are all different styles, so its safe to say the sizing is consistent. I get alot of compliments when I wear these and they look great with anything from jeans, to skirts, to shorts!! I happened to snag them at less that 1/2 of retail here on Amazon by checking on my cart daily. Get them. You won't be dissatisfied.
These immediately became my favorite boots. Comfortable, high quality and the style is off the hook. Ever time I wear them someone will stop me in the street/bus/store and say how awesome they are. It’s the zippers - they make this a unique look that catches everyone’s eye. I also personally love how easy zippers are to navigate in comparison to laces, although it comes with both. I just removed the laces entirely. This would make a great gift to someone who likes a hard edge look - buy for yourself too!
I got them as a snazzy all around boot and I'm not disappointed. I'm an 8.5 wide and I got an 8 and they fit fine cause these run a bit big. I love the zippers, they're just cuter than the regular ones and I can wear them to dress up a pair of black jeans or a dress. Have fun with them. :)
I love these . I was retro fund ones with the side zipper because I don’t like pull in boots at all. But these are so cute. I normally get an 8.5 in boot but I stuck with an 8 and they still have room to fit comfortably. The fact hat you can remove the front zipper is a plus too.
I'm normally a 7-7.5. I ordered these in a 7 and had to return for a bigger size. Love the style.
These are not comfortable out the gate.... BUT being someone who owns many leather shoes (birks included) They never are. You wear them for a few weeks and then they are formed around foot and become very comfortable. The leather takes time to soften, but then these types of shoes last for years. So be patient and you won't be disappointed. Plus these are adorable!
Bought these as a gift for teenage daughter who's been asking for a pair of Doc Marten boots. She's usually in a hurry getting out the door for school so I liked the zippers for ease of getting in and out of these boots versus the lace ups. She agrees. She loves the style. She's wearing double socks as Doc Martens advises on their website. So far no problems with her feet in wearing them all day at school. She loves them and purchased at a great price. She will be wearing them no doubt in her college years.
Bought these for my daughter for Christmas & they are perfect! She normally wears a size 9 or 9.5 & I got her a 9 in these… they fit her great! Quality, sturdy, & comfortable.
