Purchased as a gift for my wife. She loves the color and loves the low ride boot. They are not insulated which she also likes. Fit is good and no blisters!
True to size. Alot of people say to size down, but there's no way I could have. The 9 was perfect and what I typically wear in Asics and Nikes. I also have wider ankles/ calves making it hard to find short booties that fit. But these were perfect and still plenty loose.
I felt that these boots was really overpriced for rubber boots. So, that mainly why I returned them.
They are so comfortable and slide off & on with ease. They run true to size with room for a thicker sock if you wanted. I use these for work, I walk a couple miles a day and they hold up great and don’t cause my feet to blister
I don’t write many reviews but I had to do this one. I have always wanted a pair of Hunters but the cost stopped. Finally I decided to invest in a pair. I love walking and hated when all the puddles stopped me or made my feet wet. So I bought these. First they are really heavy! I was a bit surprised but the worse part is that they are very uncomfortable. They fit find, not too tight but walking in them is awful. By the second time I wore them I thought, oh no, that is too much money to be in this much discomfort. I’m very disappointed. I guess the price doesn’t mean that they shoes are comfortable.
Great boots, TTS for a size 8, occasionally I size up a half size for boots if I’m going to wear socks underneath, but not for my Hunters. I have a pair of tall original Hunters but I wasn’t sure how warm Ireland would be in the early summer (hint: it is not, lol) so I bought my first short ones and these had a little heel/wedge to them, so it kinda elevated my look without looking like I overdressed for all of our adventures. I will say they were a little heavy, but that’s the nature of galoshes and I’d be nervous if they weren’t.Unlike my Hunter originals, they didn’t cause me to blister on the back of my heel, which was a bit surprising, but I think it helped I wore them with boot cuffs most of the time to hide my raw hem jeans. They did a great job keeping my feet dry and some days were so rainy that our raincoats soak through!The wide openings of the boots were perfect for tucking in my bootcut jeans without “poofing” them out and the matte purple is STUNNING! Felt like they went with everything!
Buyer beware. Damaged box. Damaged product. Tags were missing. Very disappointed.
Love these rain boots! They are light weight, easy to slip on and off, stylish, cute, comfortable and all around great boots!
