I searched for a week to find a pair ofHunter rain boots that were marked down. I always loved how Hunter boot looked, but I was hesitant to spend the money.When I received the boots, they were in a generic boot box. Brand new, no signs of wear.I bought size 10 based on reviews, I usually wear 10.5-11. I was hesitant to size down, I’ve done it before based on reviews and ended up returning for A bigger size. The size 10s fit perfectly, just enough extra room for a slight bit of wiggle room. They are comfortable enough to walk through the zoo the second time that I wore them.Only negative is that The buckle thing on the side is weird. It doesn’t easily lay flat but it’s not obviously weird looking either.TL;DR they might actually be worth the cost
These are the classic Hunter short (midcalf) boots, with the thickened area around the front of the ankle where it has to bend a lot. I have other pairs I bought elsewhere, and was wearing one out, so I bought these. I wish they had been the right size; they were beautiful, excellent boots with a quality sole. They are just too loose; when UK sizing is converted to US, it doesn’t always line up! I downsized to a 9 from the 10 I had ordered, and now they’re perfect… I use mine roughly, like they were intended, doing all my garden and landscape work in them. They’re super comfortable and fit me even with a pair of reinforced cotton socks; my usual US size is 9.5, so they do run a touch big if you’re between sizes. I can work in these for hours without any discomfort.
These are excellent rubber rain/waterproof boots. I have to walk dogs in all weathers, and with these I can go right through mud, damp, and deep puddles with no problem. They're lightweight for rubber boots, compared to other brands I've tried, and they're great for walking in right out of the box. I didn't have to break them in at all. However, they do run a bit large, at least for me. I ordered my regular size, and I had to put in an insole to make them fit better. But with the insole, they're the best fitting rubber boots I've had. Highly recommended.

These boots fit well in my usual size and are softer than expected. They have no arch support, so I would suggest buying some orthotics to put in them. I walked through puddles and they did not leak. They look cool.
Just switched to these shorter rain boots. First time purchasing Hunters. I love the look, but I feel they run narrow. I wear size 7.5 and ordered a 7 which fits. No arch support like most rain boots. I typically wear a thick sock for cushion and to keep feet warm.
