Hush Puppies Women's Bailey Chukka Boot, Leopard Calf Hair, 6

These boots are perfect and the exact quality those who know, should expect from Hush Puppy. If you like hair calf and animal print in a desert boot, this is the one for you. The are slightly large for bare feet, but perfect to wear with wool socks.

I think these boots are great! They fit as expected for my usual size and I didn't find them to be weirdly narrow as some reviews mentioned (I have average width feet). They did feel very slightly tight at the widest part of my foot when I first wore them but the leather stretched within the first day of wearing them and now they're comfy. The padding under the balls of my feet did feel like it was hitting an awkward spot at first too but it squished down after the first day and feels fine now. The olive suede looks a little more green in person and less neutral than the photo but I still like them. The laces do get pretty loose but the boots still feel secure enough on my feet. The built-in insoles aren't comfy enough for a hike but plenty comfy for the office and standing while filing. I hope the protection on the suede keeps them looking nice for a long time because I really like them.

Fit is a bit narrow at toe but overall comfortable for a dress shoe. Not great as a teacher. I had to change shoes because I’m on the floor and kneeling out squatting at their level way too much to not completely wreck these shoes (and my back) in a week. Have gotten a ton of compliments though. Very cute shoe.

I love the way these look on me. Oftentimes women's casual shoes or boots (not dressy high heeled shoes or stilettos) are designed a bit frumpy due to the shape of the toe. Very unflattering the way the toe of the shoe is a bit too round and clumpy looking, almost like a baby or kids show. Not so with elegant men's shoes which tend to be more tapered. These hush puppies for women have that kind of toe, not to mention the beautiful feel of the suede and the amazing chestnut color. I love them.

I have always liked this style of bootie (Chukka) and I trust the Hush Puppies brand so I did something I wouldn't normally do. I ordered these booties without trying them on. Actually, it was through the Prime Try Before You Buy program so I could have returned them but I didn't want to go through the headache of exchanging for a larger size. I deliberately ordered the 6 WIDE so that winter socks would fit. They seem more like Narrow, quite tight. I wore them for a day and they stretched ever so slightly so that has encouraged me. Soon I will buy stretch spray and stretch trees and really give the booties a workout. Why am I going through this trouble? Because otherwise, they are gorgeous. A beautiful, neutral mushroom color. Very well made, with just the right amount of heel and height. My suggestion: Proceed with caution. Maybe even buy one size larger.

These boots are comfortable and perfect. Hush Puppies has mastered the need for a little more space on the horizontal sides of the toe end, and a little more space for the length at the toe end, giving the toes a little more space to breath. For me, it works really well. No more squeezed and pushed toes, but it reflects the size well at the same time. I found that the color of these boots does not match the photo in the Amazon presentation. My boots are more of a muted dusky taupe, giving them a more subtle look, which I really like a lot more. Great work Hush Puppies! A well made shoe is an art form.

As soon as I open the box, I was in love. They are a great addition to almost any outfit. Not super comfortable to wear all day but definitely to make a statement. I look forward to getting the leopard print as well
