I like these boots. They look good, are well made. Easy to slip on. True to size.. I usually wear an 8M and that's what I ordered in these. They fit, but no room for socks. The footbed is very hard. No cushioning at all. They will not be good for all day wear. I was able to put a thin cushiony insert in and that's why I kept them. That made the footbed comfortable "enough".
I have never bought a pair of lucky brand shoes. This is my first pair and will not be my last! I bought the Nubuc in black. I usually wear 8M, but because of serious foot issues, I’ve had a hard time finding anything I can wear. Because this is suede and perforated, I figured it would have a little more “give”. it was a lucky decision that I ordered the 8M because they’re perfect. There’s a tad more room in the toe box. I have bunions and don’t notice at all that I have a bootie on. I really want to purchase the regular black leather, but not sure if it will be as forgiving at the nubuc. I LOVE the support from the heal at the arch. I’m very happy to have something other than black flats. I’m very happy!Update: I was at the podiatrist today and I’m definitely going to have surgery. I have worn these boots three days in a row all day and they’re very comfortable given the fact that I can’t wear any other shoe.
I have a really hard time finding shoes that are comfortable to actually walk in. I have very bony feet, size 10, long toes. So when I put these little beauties on I felt like they were too pretty to actually be good walking boots. The first moment I put my foot in it felt a little tight but then once I started walking in them they felt like second skin. I absolutely love these! I love them so much. I bought another pair and a different color and I'm waiting for other colors to become available. These are truly comfortable and beautiful shoes that are great for walking in cities and wearing to work.
I love, loved these booties, style, comfort and fit. I have three pair because they are super comfy and go well with multiple outfits. But, for $80 the sole looks like crap! I have only owned the browner ones since December 11, have probably worn them 5 or 6 times, casually, like to dinner or to watch a high school basketball game. They are a month old and the sole is apparently painted over yellow. Now the yellow shows through and looks so bad! The other tanish pair I have owned for a year and you can see how the sole continues to get worse. The black pair I honestly love, but they have probably only been worn a few times.I am just disappointed in a name brand (Lucky Brand) item that wasn’t a cheap pair of booties not even looking nice for the season.
In September, I had foot surgery. I am now able to start wearing "normal shoes". I got these in a 9 1/2 wide and are comfortable. Still not ready for all day long wear and walking but I made it for about 4 hours before my feet became fatigued. I may also include my orthotics to make it a bit more comfortable. Regardless, they look great for work, church, or with jeans. I like looking nice but without sacrificing my comfort and these boots fit the bill. I would definitely buy from Lucky Brand again.
