I had some of the "low quarter" version of these work shoes and they are very studry and stand up to all sorts of abuse while doing construction and yard work. Only problem with those was I was wearing out the top back edge of the the heel before the rest of the shoe. I guess it was from sliding my foot in without using the back loop. Anyway these are a bit taller, and they provide better support all around and I don't wear the backs down at all. Like the lower version they are nearly bulletproof but I'm sure they'll last a lot longer. I bought a second pair right afterward to make sure I had a follow-on pair when my first pair finally wears out. Did I mention they're waterproof? Perfect all-weather shoes.
I ordered these shoes coming into fall to wear as the colder wet weather starts to arrive. These shoes are insulated and waterproof with a professional look...Perfect!!! They are extremely comfortable right out of the box and are easy to put on. I have had several pairs of Merrell shoes and they have never let me down.

Walking
Love these boots at the reduced price. I wear 11 Wide in Merrell's MOAB shoes, but that proved to be way too roomy in these. I switched for an 11 regular and the fit is perfect (normally wear 11.5 or 11 Wide), so I'd say these run on the large end. Look forward to stomping around in them in winter.
Excelente
I bought these for casual wear. They look great. The quality is excellent. I only wore them for a few minutes, but the feel was incredible. My feet loved them. I work in construction and wear a different brand for work but I'd live to wear these all day but I don't want to destroy them. They are too nice...besides I bought them for outside of work. Would I recommend? Yeah. Would I buy again? Hell yeah. I just ordered another pair to put away in case the stop making them... may even buy a third.
